LOL

serious question: what do you think the Bills fans reception/ reaction would be to Peterman if he came back in any capacity to Buffalo (as a player mainly I guess)

Hmmmmmmm....

We are quite an assembly of half wits.

We dawdle back and forth on this stuff concerning an already fired coach.  Please, why don't we go another few rounds on the OJ WoF thing, or crucify Shefter in the name of journalistic integrity.

All the while the real villains at the center of this story are still out there, prowling about thinking they got away.

No...no you didn't.  No you didn't, Dan Snyder, WFT and NFL.

More leaks. Not as much controversy. Yet.

NYT issuing a leak during each PrimeTime game so far. Wonder if they are sitting on all 650,000 emails. Or someone from the league office is leaking them out as they see fit...

NFL is announcing that there is "nothing to see here"

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32407532/report-nfl-finds-no-other-current-team-personnel-implicated-washington-football-team-email-investigation

Amazing to think they went through hundreds of thousands of pages of emails and made a determination so quickly.  Do they have the Ef Be Eye on the case?

Only 1 guy was apparently saying such egregiously poor things that it warranted leaking.  I'm guessing there was plenty more and De Smith was looking to become the hero to and convince the players he should remain NFLPA Executive.  What a sham.

Can’t say for sure, but I think we’d all be happy to play against him. Never understood Chucky’s infatuation with him. He telegraphs every throw.

"So Quickly" didn't that investigation go on for a year, from July 2020 until July 2021 when the NFL fined the WFT "chump change" ($10M)?

But, I agree, "nothing (else) to see here" strikes me as highly improbable.

A whole lot to see I would bet, but the NFL is going to protect its owners and itself from any further black eyes, its clear as day.   Not that I want it to go away and think there should be a ton of reckoning for the NFL and some of its owners, but selfishly I don't particularly want it to be distracting from the amazing season the Bills are having so far.  Would be far better suited as a storyline for Feb. 2022 after the Superbowl.

I don’t know.  I think it’s entirely possible that Gruden was only person dumb and arrogant enough to send these type of things to a guy’s workplace email account.  By 2010, anybody with a brain knew you couldn’t send stuff around like that to a guy’s workplace email account.  Most workplaces would’ve flagged those emails immediately, which shows what type of organization WFT was running.  Wasn’t Whaley fired from Steelers for sending porn from a workplace email well before 2010?

and no, part of this, a 10 million dollar fine doesn’t cover it.

Edit:  and it is sprinkled with utter and complete horse**** that 650k emails resulted in one or two guys, not with the org, getting in any sort of trouble.

Are you talking about the Redskins getting away with something?

you know what, WEO, probably even the league, in general, too.

The WFT is the entity being investigated by the NFL and the DEA (the articles you cite).  The NFL isn't the target of the investigation.  The investigation off the inappropriate behavior finished this summer and the WFT was fiend 10 million.  Then the NFL re-opened the investigation to review the emails.

The cheerleaders sued the WFT and accepted a cash settlement.

If you are talking about the 650K emails possibly containing other bad words by other people than Gruden....yeah, probably.  But so what?  More will be leaked and more people will be shamed.  That's not "getting away with" something....

It’s official.  WEO loves and approves of me, even if for only 9 out of his 100 word post.

Take that, TSW!
