CuseBill Posted August 25, 2021 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Has anyone else in Upstate New York (or specifically in Syracuse) had a problem with the first two preseason games not being on the NFL Network? For each of the first two games and tonight's replay of Bills at Bears, Spectrum's channel guide shows the Bills being on but the actual game being shown is another game. WTF! Annoyed since all were supposed to be shown live and it wasn’t available on another channel. Great and now another replay of Giants game. Are they even planning on showing replay. It's interesting that in SoCal and NJ you're having the same issue with the guide saying it's on the NFL Network but another game is being shown. It's interesting that of the people who responded to this some have gotten the actual Bills game shown on the guide and others have not. Weird that there is such an inconsistent experience. My guess is someone pushed the wrong button and thought OK Syracuse is in Bills local domain so we can't show the game here as instead will be on local channel, except it wasn't. Kind of like Monday night games on ESPN are also shown on local station but only in flagship cities of teams playing, not in secondary markets like Rochester, Cuse, etc. Always made me mad as back in the blackout days Rochester was considered the Bills market so games would be blacked out if not sold out, but all of a sudden we're not in the market for Monday night games to be shown local TV station. WNY didn't get the Browns v Giants game live. Instead we got a replay of Bucs v Titans. However, it looks like if you had Direct Tv here it showed the Bills - Bears game live. I am more annoyed with the replay not being shown even though it was listed in the guide. Same here in NJ, they said we will now take you to the bills game and then it cuts off to a different game even though my cable box says it should be the bills game playing.
