Completely ridiculous. 22 veterans a day take their life... which is horrible (my daughter and I have helped raise money for awareness the past 10+ years and suicide has touched my family first hand). It has nothing to do with the Governor. Over 100 Guardsmen have taken their life over the past year, across the country. We going to blame that on those governors too?

That's seriously messed up.

On top of that this country actually needs more workers, and they want to work!

The basic concept seems to keep alluding your here. Yes, everyone knows that the vast majority of these people are coming here to work. That’s not the issue. It can’t really be that confusing to you….or is it?

Dude, National Guard pay is set by what active duty and reserves get paid. It's all the same, just depends on how much time you are doing it. 3 day drill will get paid the same per day as the 2 week AT... or when you're activated for state side service. I've been activated a couple of times for state side work. Benefits, like bonuses, are based off what is in the budget for that MOS.

Again, over 100 ANG have taken their life over the past year in all states. Is it Newsom's fault for the National Guardsman suicide 3 weeks ago in California?

Texas National Guard struggles to pay soldiers

As Gov. Greg Abbott mobilizes thousands of Texas National Guard troops to assist with his border initiative known as Operation Lone Star, the state has struggled to pay soldiers on time while slashing their tuition assistance benefits, raising concerns about morale in the 19,000-member force.

Texas lawmakers deplore mistreatment of National Guardsmen sent to border duty

Legislative leaders overseeing the Texas Military Department say they are looking into reports of suicides, habitual pay problems and poor working conditions on Gov. Greg Abbott's highly touted border mission.

Abbott Fails The Texas Guard

Gov. Greg Abbott’s border initiative known as Operation Lone Star continues to nurture a dystopian environment as the Texas National Guard troops watch their fellow colleagues commit suicide, and at the same time, suffer the consequences of getting their benefits slashed or their salary delayed.

The city of Uvalde, which was put on the map when Salvador Ramos massacred 19 children and 2 adults, has just suspended it’s entire police force.

Via ABC News: https://abcnews.go.com/US/uvalde-school-district-suspends-entire-police-force-fallout/story?id=91172897

The Uvalde, Texas, school district — still facing withering criticism over its police department’s failings both during the May 24 elementary school massacre and since — announced the suspension of the entire district police force on Friday.

The district said it’s requested more Texas Department of Public Safety troopers to be stationed on campuses and at extra-curricular activities, adding, “We are confident that staff and student safety will not be compromised during this transition.” …

Given the horrible police response to the massacre, I can’t say as I blame them.

No, the blame is all on Joke.  And Hispanics see it and are starting to turn.

Hispanics are far more ideologically aligned with Republicans than Democrats.   It’s starting to show in recent years.

Oh, this will help things....

As everyone knows, there is no more effective way to shape the behavior of young people than through state-mandated posters on their classroom walls. At least that’s what Republicans in the Texas legislature seem to believe, which is why they’re advancing a bill requiring the posting of the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom in the state.

All Texans, independent of their political affiliation, should appreciate that the Republican-dominated Texas House of Representatives finally had enough of the shenanigans of Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton and voted to impeach him over allegations of illegal activities related to one of his political donors.

Not really unexpected, Donald Trump posted on social media that Paxton is a friend of his and that he would "fight" Republicans who allow the impeachment to proceed. Well, this now puts Trump against a lot of Texas Republicans.
