The key is to not get boxed in a specific position......ie. if Running Back is the best value.......go with running back......if linebacker is the best player available.....go there 2 1 1 1 2

Expand Tough to say that that Beane didn’t draft Tre. He wasn’t the GM but all signs point towards him drafting Zay and dawkins. I’m not claiming to know who drafted him.....just that i don’t know for sure. We also “know” that he was not hired until after said draft was over. Drawing the conclusion that he was “making picks” for Bills means you need a new set of crayons. 1

Expand ^ Probably will be long gone. “Fixing” the running game may have more to do with a stud OG than spending pick 30 on a RB. At pick 30 he will likely find a solid starter that is ready to play soon than an impact player. At least based on my definition of an impact player. You never know. 1 1

While we know he was employed in Carolina, you 💯 don’t know that he didn’t have any influence on the picks in that draft. Childish insults never prove anything. Continue on.
Charles Romes Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Taking a page from the Diggs trade playbook I actually think the sweet spot In value is trading that pick for a proven player who is in the top 10 in his position. Let’s be honest a pick at 30 is essentially a 2nd round pick. At the same time it can still be sold to a trade partner’s fan base as a first round pick. Why not eliminate all the doubt and get a proved top ten at his position player. Plenty of teams will be unloading assets this off-season. 1

Expand It’s probably just a coincidence that we traded up ahead of the panthers to draft WR, Zay Jones. The panthers then select a WR, Curtis Samuel. then later in the same round, the bills trade up to the pick ahead of Carolina to take OL Dawkins. Carolina selects OL Taylor Moton Pure coincidence 💯
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 A top guard could be had at that pick, which we definitely need opposite of Feliciano ( who needs to be resigned) . Our line was poor at run and pass blocking until Feliciano came back and went to solid pass blocking and ok run blocking. We really need to improve both lines if we want to take the next step ( better press coverage as well) 5 1 1
