Or at least criticize the trait that we are insulted by? You lose a lot of credibility when you throw “plus he’s a midget dwarf [with an unattractive wife]” on top of it (let alone leading with it and making sure to Trumpishly include it in every comment). The point is simple: if you’re a person that claims to be against discrimination on the basis of appearance traits that can’t be changed, maybe it’s worth being an example as opposed to doing that very same thing yourself. I’ve made my point and I’ll leave it there.

For far too long we men have allowed our shorter brothers to be the victims of cruel jokes, pranks, and denigration. It is time that we stand with our height challenged fellow men and come together as one gender to combat discrimination and inequality in our society. Institutionalized heightism comes in many forms. Its girls calling short men their "little brother", its ride restrictions at Six Flags, its basketball, pants manufacturers. Tall privilege is real. Personally, I don't have a problem wearing a body camera and I've had a lot of times where people stop acting a fool when they realize I'm recording. Even though I am not a little person, I far too long have looked down on them. So while I am not one, I will attend this march to learn of the pain that my little brothers and have sisters have been through. If you can't be mad about the forms of discrimination that don't affect you, it's not a great look when you argue about the ones that do. I really wouldn't pick this hill to die on. Like everything, a few bad apples ruin things for the whole (think about being Muslim). Cops have an insanely difficult job. I don’t envy them. At the same time, since it’s such a tough job, you need the best of the best. And not the dude who is angry he peaked in high school. But I sincerely feel bad for the good cops lumped in with the scumbags. 1

The overwhelming majority legitimately care and are only trying to do a good job. I'm also in favor of more and better training but you can't accomplish that if the goal is to defund or abolish police. 1

Expand Actually no, I really don’t see the point. Like I said, if your whole shtick isn’t putting others down and propping yourself up, I would never attack you. But if it is, you deserve what you get back. It’s like the media who loves to criticize others and then immediately cry the second someone comes back at them. Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it. I’d argue that calling someone a fascist without any semblance of proof besides the way a guy looked when he gave a speech (Look it up) is a lot worse than calling a 5’4” guy little. Kaepernick quietly took a knee, he was called every name in the book, and lost his job. Obama was hated for more than just policies and constantly put down by Trump (whose old Obama tweets now are absolutely hilarious because of the double standards). He always took the high ground. Eventually after turning enough cheeks, you might need to fight back. Rioting and looting is stupid. But guess what? A lot more people are paying attention and more things are happening than they were 4 years ago.
