I am 100% behind him and want him to the Bills QB the next dozen years. Scoring 20 is not a high benchmark in this league and almost every team would tell you that is the minimum they expect week after week. Here is the Bills record when the opposition scores 20 points vs. the Bills 3-17. The Bills have beaten TB in 2017 30-27 Jacksonville 2018 24-21 Miami 2019 31-21 Discuss???? Check almost any team and their ability to score over 20 points & in higher scoring games. Bills have scored over 20 points in 19 of 40 games coached by McD (haven't gone through defensive scores or ultra-short fields). This offense needs to improve. The difference is that the OP is obsessed with this 300 yard mark, as much if not more so than how folks were obsessed with the 60% completion percentage last year. There are different ways to score points, you pass, you run. Just two games ago Wentz threw for 172 yards, three yards different than the Bills, but they put up 31 points. Why? Because they ran the ball well. There will be games where we need to gain more yards in the air. Absolutely. There will be games when we gash the other team with the running game. Absolutely. It would be great to have more offensive production. Absolutely. But just remember about the OP: he is on record saying the most important thing to him is to be entertained. I can only surmise than means wins are secondary.
