I don’t believe in God and think many organized religions brainwash people. So now that we have established that let me tell you this. You are a ***** #######!  Do you have teenagers?  If you do I would love to see your reaction if they were persecuted online for a “whole four days” for all the world to see.

Seriously. I thought the guy was a bit of a joke on the football side of the board, but it foes far deeper than that.

Whether or not anyone likes the looks of these kids, or what they stand for, what happened to them was wrong. They’re ***** kids, and people wanted their lives ruined because of who they were. It’s sad not matter what your stance is. It’s gotten that bad.

Can't wait to see the law suits against Fox, Rushbo and the rest of the right wing scum if this is anywhere near successful. The lawsuits will be endless!

Yeah burn$250m?  That’s a bit absurd.

How much is your life worth?

These kids are young. There will always be people that remember the narrative, not the reality of the situation. It will follow them throughout their lives. Now, if they end up winning a ton of cash from a complicit press for smearing their good names, well, that may change the narrative. And maybe, just maybe, it will stop or slow down the mob mentality of our MSM to smear people unjustly.

It's just an initial bargaining position, to encourage the Post to settle.  Eventually, the Post settles for an undisclosed sum, and everyone signs an NDA.

Unless the attorneys are hoping to turn it into a class-action lawsuit.  Which would be stupid, but I can't discount the possibility, given that the attorneys seem fairly stupid (that's the most amateurish filing I've seen since Cliven Bundy rambled about "critters.")

 I'd tell them to spend less time on facebook and avoid DC anti-abortion Rallies.

I'm confused. You think your child should not be involved in something they may believe in, but then we're told that people like David Hogg are the future.

Should we tell our children not to go to school for fear of a lunatic with a gun pushing them to advocate for elimination of the second amendment? Should we tell our children to avoid being gay and going to Orlando night clubs so they don't get killed at point-blank range by a Muslim terrorist who hates gays?

Or is this where you just chuckle and post something clever like "I can't believe you guys believe what I post!"?

No, this is where he doesn't come back until Saturday night after a quart of rotgut whiskey.

True, but there are others that will get stung as well. He'll probably end up getting more from the Catholic Diocese than any of the other defendants.

His lawyer is the one who won the defamation case against the Atlanta Olympic "Bomber" Richard Jewel.

Ummmm they didn't die.  As you may, or may not know, I'm a financial planner. I do life worth calculations all the time.  However those are done to determine one's life worth if they were to die not slandered.

As I understand it, the $250M figure was arrived at because that's what Bezos paid for the paper. Whether or not that's a good tactic or a sensible amount is another matter.

Well that's just ***** stupid.  What does what Bezos paid for the paper have to do with it?

Maybe they should shoot for a Bezos dick pic and two years of free Amazon Prime.

So how many people are free and clear of any suit, because they didn't pay ***** for Twitter?

Mostly because it reads like a pre-law student wrote it, compared to other filings I've read.

I had not seen it.

After looking at it, I'm inclined to agree with you, halfway. Specifically, I don't like the idea of them trying to act like Nick does not have any political beliefs. I do like the juvenile angle which provides them path of least resistance.

"Nicholas has zero history of political activism or aggressiveness and did not exhibit any such conduct even when confronted with unbridled racist attacks by activist bullies at the National Mall."

Wasn't he at an anti-abortion rally with a MAGA hat on?

It might just be bait to play the juvenile angle, though.

Not my style, but what do I know? Also, I'd specifically quote the Post and their reporting of this. Nothing wrong with citing the enemies work.

"Apparently, Phillips, a phony war hero, was too intimidated by the unruly Hebrew Israelites to approach them, the true troublemakers, and instead chose to focus on a group of innocent children – a much safer endeavor for activist tactics of intimidation."
