I think we finally Figured out how to put teams away in the second half. That was really the difference. continue to love Copeland! He definitely has his moments where he plays too out of control, but I think we live with that. I was impressed with his defense this game too! Benny probably had his best game at cuse too. As bunch as Pitt was dominating early too on the boards, Benny and Maliq came in in that second half and we ended up coming out ahead rebounding. i still wish though Benny wouldn’t shoot that weird flat shot. Get a little more arc to it!
Tierlifer
So far the post Boeheim era has been very refreshing to watch. I find myself much more interested and more compelled to watch even if this isn’t a tournament team.

nemhoff
It has been really cool watching these guys grow and gel this year. They are getting better and not playing afraid. I think they are going to make the tourney this year and will be super fun to watch. Their defense has been lights out in my opinion for a first year playing man-to-man.

Lost in the shuffle is how great Brown was tonight. we need someone to make outside shots. I don’t think that we can count on Taylor or Bell doing that. It’s gotta be starling, mintz, and Copeland making open looks. That said, Duke’s 3-point shooting in the second half was an aberration. They just got absurdly hot. Not sure how you stop that. I think Cuffe should get more minutes especially when bell plays like he did.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Great win against BC. Loved the unique early rotations, with Qadir and Brown in the starting lineup. Second half got a little ragged, but they gutted it out. if I had a complaint, it’s that Red needs a faster hook with Taylor. When he is just chucking them up and missing badly, he can’t go on and on shooting like that. if this team could make open outside shots with consistency, they could have really put BC away. Agreed... JT has talent... But he plays like a superstar that isn't there yet He's always putting up tough shots off the dribble

It would be great to play Maliq at the 4, but he is really doing wonders at the 5.

Dunks everything If we could get a real center next to him to let him play the four... We'd be dangerous.. hopefully next year William Patterson is ready to play

Miyagi-Do Karate
That Florida state loss was rough. We easily could have won that game, and then it just suddenly got away from us. They are an annoying team to play. It’s just a ragged, foul-filled sloppy game on both ends.

It is really the first game we lost against a team I thought we should have beaten. We made what, one 3 pointer the whole game? Way too sloppy with the ball as well, I feel like a lot of the turnovers were more unforced than anything

I guess I will give Florida state some credit for just speeding us up overall on shots— but we had a lot of wide open outside looks too that just weren’t falling.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Ugh, bad loss. Wake pretty much dominated in every way possible. Offense, defense, inside, outside, transition, rebounding, physicality, speed. not sure I have seen as thorough a beat down as that.

Miyagi-Do Karate
Great game by Bell and I will take the win. But this team has been dreadful recently on defense and the boards now for weeks. Allowing a bad Louisville team to out-rebound you by 20 and shoot over 60%? Ugh.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Better effort from the team today, but they get bullied too much inside. Really need Brown at the 4, and some more size at the 5, and even at the 3 when Bell isn’t shooting well.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Huge win against UNC! Guys really played well on offense and did enough on defense to get it done. I will add that I don’t think this team could play any better on offense— took basically a perfect offensive game from JJ, Mintz, and Bell to pull it out. Bray Wyatt
Just watched the game this morning and what a great all around team effort! I was impressed with how everybody was getting in on the rebounds and at least tipping it away from Bacot. The ball movement on offense was great but really it was all about Starling and Mintz, they were incredible. Brown and Bell both had good games as well, particularly Bell had a much better effort on the defensive end than normal. Hope he keeps that up 1

Just a collection of guys coming and going through the program. I don’t think they are even on the bubble.
