Take new Outback to dealership for 2 week checkup.

The dealership has a 'product specialist' whose job is to review operations

of the new vehicle after you have driven it for two weeks.

Answer questions and all that.

(side note.  new vehicles have toooooo much 'stuff' on them)

Champions League finals on Sat.

Then grill time.

Party at the local micro-brewery a friend of mine owns.

Sun and Monday  golf in  the AM...

Gonna go over to Saratoga Battlefield and see where my freedom started. Then head over to Saratoga National Cemetery and pay respects. Then drink some beer.

You probably think that this post is not about you, but your so vain.

Next thing you will tell us is that you're going to fly your Learjet up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun.

I just passed a Fire Department one town over and their sign outside read “Remember a Veteran this weekend”. Seems awfully warm for November round these parts.

Thanks for the invite

What I do every weekend, home alone and probably drunk. Oh well.

Happy memorial day!

Take care, my friend. Find a group of people having fun and join them. Even if it’s strangers at a park. They will welcome you! They did for me.

Hubby's putting up a garden shed for me (I finished planting today) and then painting the kitchen Monday. Sunday is our anniversary so we will go out to dinner (no big plans as many restaurants are closed for the holiday)!

Everyone have a safe and happy holiday weekend. ?

Hubby sounds like a jerk! I hate anyone who raises expectations for the rest of us. ?

Hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Tomorrow we will take our 4 year old grandson next door where the neighbors will have their grandkids. I will take apple juice boxes and a big grape bottle (a/k/a wine). Plan to hit Costco to maybe get some prawns to grill and make a remoulade.

Need to prepare around the lamp post for flowers; till the garden and get it ready to plant.  Get some potting and garden soil, as well as some flowers.  That'll be my morning.

Smoking ribs - I'll get them in the smoker at around noon.

Grilling burgs, dogs, sausages and crab cakes around the time the ribs are done.

Fire in the evening with acoustic guitars.

He didn't get enough burn in yet.

He cancelled 2 shows a few months ago with the flu

He came out once. Walked around the set without pause and went back behind stage after 12 minutes of delayed start.  Came out 20 min later. Went to strap guitar, as he bent over he paused. Took his hat and threw it like a frisbee to the crowd and walked off stage

I never had you painted in my mind as a flower guy. Anyway..do you dry rub your ribs the night before smoking? I use a old friends recipe from a gal i knew from the bayou of Louisiana..Miss Billie Bon...she passed about a half decade ago....anyway,she turned me on to a vinegar and dry rub overnight in the fridge...low oven at 250 for about 1 hour.....then smoke/grill with hickory and apple chips. I continue to try new sauces...the plastic bottle store bought chain types don't get my buds hyped anymore...usually get a couple pints from Kentucky Greg's (tomato base). Enjoy the next few days...you deserve it!

Peace.
