If you draft a guy at #2, then you better plan on playing him his rookie year, or year 2 at the latest. I haven't heard about Eli planning on retiring. Eli Manning is 37 years old and has been steadily declining for 3 years. Everybody assumes the Giants are passing on a QB but I don't understand that logic. Manning is nearing the end & the Gmen may not be in this spot again for the forseeable future. We are not getting Mayfield/Rosen/Darnold is my guess. Unless Beane loves Allen(which is entirely possible) stay put at 12 & take a shot at Jackson. Baker Mayfield upgrades their offense enormously. Mayfield, with Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry and David Njoku could be an amazing offense. They also might have a shot at Barkley at 4, and if they don't, they can trade down and try to pick up picks to grab a franchise LT. You can't make a team trade with you and the only thing we could have done differently is beat out the Jets trade. You can't control what you can't control.
