Jets Have Highest Offer to Suh (w/o visit)

I don't think I would mind this. Although I most definitely DO NOT WANT IT,  there could be a very nice silver lining. Although Suh was very productive last year he is 31yo. In addition, the Jets have always had an excellent D-line and I don't think Suh would change any game plan. Plus nothing could be worse than what NYJ DL did to us in the most recent Color Rush game. With that being said, I think it could be great for us if they end up tying up what I am sure will be somewhere around $50+million right away after they draft a (#3ovr) rookie qb. Let the cap be ever in their favor next yr/2020.

Puzzling roster building. Mo Wilk much better.

It really seems like they have no plan. Just basically signing everyone they possible and hoping for the best.

Maccagnan is unhinged.  Don't rule out Barkley for them.

That would be unlikely but hysterical.

So they cut one overpaid headache on the d line in an effort to improve the culture in their building, and immediately try and sign another d lineman who has been rumored to be a big headache to deal with, and not a very good locker room presence? (telling fellow teammates they're not good enough to be on the field with him, and lots of other stuff like that).

Makes perfect sense.... if you're the Jets I guess. lol

Their plan isn't the most coherent. I can't even figure out what type of players they like.

I'm a lot more worried about the Jets than the fish. I think Miami will be very weak this year and we'll both be drafting in the top 5 in the 2019 draft.

i'm more of a fan of tannehill than most people are not that he is some world beater but he's pretty good. under rated runner which can move some chains. but man they subtracted landry, suh, thomas off the top of my head. I'm realy curious what they do in the draft.  They would have to get some huge productions from the draft picks to be better next year.

Noooooo...Mo was garbage the last two years. Literally invisible man. He took off for 90% of his snaps and left Leo Williams to take double teams with a spreained wrist. Guy was not who the rest of the league thinks/thought he was. He got his paycheck and tuned out.

dunno if I Love the idea of Suh playing with us. He does have a nasty game and I look at him like Sheldon Richardson with a “mean streak” but he is 31.

Will say that his PFF rating is “Elite”..top 5 at his position..think the idea of adding Suh is the fact the front office understands that there will be no pass rushing generating from the outside this season so they want to add talent up front to at least make up for that in some manner.

If we sign him for say...a 3 year deal with an escape hatch after the 1st year..I’m cool with that.

Not in a million years man lol...

we have ave a few guys on the board who are actually okay with giving up that much draft capital and grabbing Barkely it Rosen and Darnold are gone..safe to say I went off today for that lol.

This wreaks of a Todd Bowles move to me. I think they believe they have a good grasp on the culture and locker room so they have confidence in bringing Suh in as long as he cooperates. Macc is known for the escape hatch deals and it’s what helped us get out of the Wilkerson extension..so if he can play nice and produce well..I don’t see the harm..that’s a decent sized “IF” though.
