They gave up ridiculous value and the Giants will use that as the floor. To move to #2 we'd probably have to give up both 1sts, both 2nds, and next year's 1st. The Colts got three 2nd round picks to move down 3 spots. I personally have no interest in giving up a ton more than that for a 50/50 shot at best. Now that all changes if we trade up a few more spots, like the rumored Hughes to Tampa Bay trade. That would put us in position to make the move solely with the picks we've accumulated through other moves. I'd have no problem with that. No Qb in this draft is a lock to be Manning/Luck/Brady/Brees its more likely they could all max out as the next Winston or Marriotta Are you happy giving up almost the entire first half of your draft to move up to get Winston, Marriotta, Bortles or Trubisky? Just because the QB is the best QB in his draft class it doesn't mean they are worth mortgaging the future over.
