Ted was not good at telling a lie and getting away with it

sad moment was his 1980 Prez run crushed when simply asked why he wanted to be President

There has never been anything the least bit sad about a Kennedy being crushed.

Kennedys and Clintons.  The lesson as always:  Democrats are the scum of the earth.

Agreed, but if you are older than 30 it’s a huge part of the story of your life

The Senator was right. If Teddy had driven a VW, he would have been president.

I just went through this thread looking for a post from the senator. ☹️. Damn.

National Lampoon got in trouble  because they had a Volkswagen ad that said  "Ted Kennedy would be president today  if he drove a Volkswagen."  Volkswagen sued and they had to cut the page out of all the issues they hadn't yet sold.

Coming out two weeks before the November midterm?

If you wonder why things are so !@#$ed up just realize that almost everyone currently over the age of 60 at that time thought it was cool to drive drunk like Teddy and didn’t  think Chappa was an indicator of bad ethics....

Well...I'd say killing a girl is probably anyone's darkest hour.

But it wouldn't even be a story but for Kennedy.  You never hear about it when I dismember a hooker, after all...
