Not "one of the best in the league" or even "a very good 2nd tier QB." No. Just "better than Tyrod Taylor" is apparently too much for some people to admit. That's because he has several games in his career where he played a handful of snaps which brings down his AVG. As a starter in Philly, his YPG blows TT's out of the water. Otherwise you've got a Tom Brady-Drew Bledsoe situation in reverse; one of them (and you pick the best one in your opinion) stays, and the other has to go. Actual QB passing yards? I don't think that's correct. Fin any case, Foles made a throw tonight over the middle between 2 defends Tyrod would never dare attempt. He was fantastic tonight. True, they did invest a lot in him, but they could get a lot back. I don’t really like playing “what if”... but what if the Browns offered you the #1 and #4 picks in the draft this year and next year’s #1 for him? And that's the most important thing. No standing around looking confused. Get the ball, see the whole field, make the throw. And then when the throws came, they were right on the money.
