Epps, a Corcoran High School and Le Moyne College graduate, was set to become the first African American crew member on the International Space Station. NASA announced Thursday that Epps was removed from the flight crew set to go to space in June.

Why is the shuttle and space suits white? We need more color!

Have you noticed that the only place we've sent astronauts to is a white/silvery moon? Meanwhile the 'red' planet (which is a racist term to begin with) gets unmanned rovers. They send mechanical !@#$ing dogs to the 'red' planet. What kind of bull **** is that?!?

Hell, even the international space station is white.

Yeah...I'm sure NASA just became racist in less than a year.

Really, if all the gains you made over the past 40 years are that fragile, you never gained anything.

wasn't there an African-American on the Challenger blowup?

I recall a tasteless joke about them not knowing it would blow up....

Ronald McNair, Mission Specialist was on Challenger.

It is preposterous to claim racism here.

NASA, with a really limited budget spends a fortune on training.

Absolutely no way they did this without cause.

Or we would have heard about it a lot more and a lot sooner than just now. Why the SJWs would have marched in protest at Cape Canaveral years ago to make us ignorant bastages aware of the great injustices being perpetrated on the victims.

That seems more like a general reminder to the public that she was removed from the program, not so much like they're actually interviewing her. It's almost as if they want to remind everyone that she might have been passed over based on race.

I have a pretty good joke involving a shuttle and a black box, but I suspect it would be grossly misinterpreted by some here.

I would guess that most people would keep an open mind and take black box jokes as they come.
