No, they're doing it to unite us as a people - bringing as many as possible under the northeastern liberal umbrella.

The unwashed continental masses will come around soon enough, they're sure...

They are closing or minimizing newspapers, losing viewers daily.

How desperate for stories are they that they dusted off a 30 year old "Keith Richards doesn't like Trump" story?

Right? And put it in the politics section.

Then again, the Stones always were the band of choice for certain groups.

That's right. Penguins LOVE the Stones and Petty.

!@#$ you.

I actually heard "Jammin' Me" yesterday, and thought "Okay...there's one Tom Petty song that's not bad."  Mostly because the verse includes moments of silence.

Talk about out of touch. I love the Stones. I have no doubt that Trump tried to strong arm them. I have no doubt that Keith Richards was drunk and stoned  enough to grab his knife and try to confront Trump's people.

I also have no doubt that the Stones.Org have strong-armed MANY people throughout their career.

Nope. Not a pattern at all.

My boss mentioned this at work.  I had to ask who Keith Richards was.

When he said Rolling Stones I said, Oh thats why I don't know him.  Shuffling Fossils

Real news outlets would make Stormy's reaction a 5 part story.

Tucker Carlson just beat down a New Mexican politician on his campaign.

F--- the NRA and an AR15 can fire 150 rounds in 15 seconds was his campaign ad.

And people wonder why no one takes Democrats seriously.

That commercial was posted in one of the threads here yesterday.

Don Lemon is welcome to his opinion like the one above,  but we have to stop calling him an anchor.

He's now a full-fledged opinion host.

As they say in the south, "CNN__ they'd rather climb a tree to tell a lie, than stand on the ground and talk the truth"

They are propaganda outlets, but not for a party.  People need to stop think about this in binary terms.

They are doing this intentionally to divide us as a people.

That's the most accurate assessment because cable news is really only useful when there's a major event (that's why they love when we're at war).  Other than that, they have to amplify news stories in order to get ratings.  Fox and MSNBC get ratings by focusing on the most radical elements of the opposing party which do more to divide us.  Fox's "War on Christmas" over the years is just an example. CNN is falling behind even though they started the whole "left" vs. "right" show format.  This tribalism is hurting our political discourse and online news outlets of preference that provide confirmation bias is just furthering that divide.
