Some people just don't understand how terribly bad Tyrod is at QB. Don’t believe I said he’s the reason they aren’t. But the fact of the matter is the Redskins have paid Cousins $54 million and haven’t made the playoffs in these past 2 years. So you can forget about those 5 picks. Washington would surely want a 1st and probably a 2nd for Cousins. I don’t think he’s worth that PLUS giving him a huge contract. You can't only pay a big contract if it's Tom Brady. Cousins consistently leads top 10 passing offenses. If we draft a QB high it would be considered extremely successful if he ends up as good as Cousins. Our QB search will be over and we can focus on the rest of the tesm. I don’t see the Redskins placing the franchise tag (exclusive or non-exclusive) on Cousins, and I don’t see them working out a long-term deal before the free agency period.
