Any chance of a home flex game?

week 8 Oakland game could have a good chance, plus it would pull a higher rating with the west coast being later in the night.

week 13 New England.

If Carr is still out, I doubt it.

Plus, there are 3 other matchups that week that would probably get flexed before small market Buffalo.

Thursday Night game vs Miami a few years ago a porpoise fan was beaten unconscious and left face down in a snow bank. He suffocated to death. He was also drunk of course...

Not quite accurate. I don't think he was beaten, and he drowned.

That area where he drowned is now fenced off. I tailgated right there last Sunday, and cops were all over that area. I assume their presence was as heavy elsewhere around the lots.

Gotcha I think I know where you are talking about, that makes more sense thanks for clearing up!

Personally I hate flex games. I like my 1pm games.

Who doesn't? We can plan the whole Sunday around 1pm to 5pm.

BUT..

It's because we're used to following a bad team nobody else wants to see. It may be we have to re-think what it's SUPPOSED to be about..

Personally, I'm ready for a change.

Well Let's look week by week, starting after our bye:

Week 7

Our Game: Tampa Bay @ Buffalo

Current Sunday Night game: Atlanta @ New England

Likelihood: NONE - replay of SB51

Week 8

Our Game: Raiders @ Buffalo

Current Sunday Night game: Steelers @ Lions

Likelihood: little-to-none - both scheduled teams currently 3-1 (although this is the start of a 5 night-games in 6 weeks stretch for Pittsburgh)

Week 9

Our Game: Buffalo @ NY Jets

Current Sunday Night game: Oakland Raiders @ miami

Likelihood: NONE - our game is Thursday night, only Sunday Afternoon games can be flexed

Week 10

Our Game: Saints @ Buffalo

Current Sunday Night game: Patriots* @ Denver

Likelihood: NONE - Pats*/Broncos will always be in prime time

Week 11

Our Game: Buffalo @ LA Chargers

Current Sunday Night game: Eagles @ Dallas

Likelihood: NONE - another big rivalry game

Week 12

Our Game: Buffalo @ Chiefs

Current Sunday Night game: Packers @ Steelers

Likelihood: NONE - huge national following for both teams

Week 13

Our Game: Patriots* @ Buffalo

Current Sunday Night game: Eagles @ Seahawks

Likelihood: Possible but not likely

Week 14

Our Game: Colts @ Buffalo

Current Sunday Night game: Ravens @ Steelers

Likelihood: NONE - even if Ravens are out and they do flex, our game is uninteresting

Week 15

Our Game: dolphins @ Buffalo

Current Sunday Night game: Cowboys @ Raiders

Likelihood: little-to-none - other sunday 1PM games would probably be ahead of ours

Week 16

Our Game: Buffalo @ Patriots*

Current Monday afternoon game: Steelers @ Texans (no game Sunday night)

Likelihood: MAYBE

Week 17

Our Game: Buffalo @ dolphins

Current Sunday Night game: NONE

Likelihood: Don't even know if there is a Sunday Night game this week...

Nice work. Even the maybe is iffy. Steelers and Texans game could be for home field advantage in playoffs.

If Bills Pats is for the East lead then look out.

Week 17, they flex the game with the biggest playoff implications to Sunday night. No MNF that week.

NBC did that once years ago, what was the final, New England 58- Buffalo 10, something like that. They haven't seen BC again. SMall market team, still completely irrelevant, there's no need to turn away from the monster markets.

58 pts against would have been humiliating. We held them to 56.

week 13 New England.

This makes some sense especially if Oakland can climb back in contention with KC and Denver for the AFC west crown or show they are viable wild card candidates. Also, if Buffalo and NE are both in contention for playoff berths when they play, the league may decide they would be a good TV draw in a nationally broadcast game.

If you live out of market and don't have ST, you will only see the 4pm and primetime Bills games.
