He's my favorite active Bill and I'd like to see him play for as long as possible. But after the moves of the last few weeks this team is at least 3 years minimum away from competing for anything and it's unlikely Kyle will still be playing at that point, so the cap space today is probably more valuable to the team moving forward than KW this year. On his last legs at 31 years old, Rubin likely wants to join a contender after being released by the Seahawks following the Sheldon Richardson acquisition. The Bills don't qualify as that.
