  1. Two things come to mind: 1. Taylor was not responsible for the drought. 2. Taylor was not responsible for ending the drought. He was "just a guy" playing the one position where being "just a guy" plain and simply won't cut it. That's why he's gone. The Allen Rosen debate is all conjecture till we see them play.
  2. Think I'll lurk around here and see if you come up with anything useful to add to the conversation (or are we just going to get more one liners).
  3. And yet, one day it will come to pass. Not sure I'll be alive to see it, but it's coming. My fervent wish is that it happens because they finally are just plain bad, not because marsha and bellyboy retire or injuries mount up. Just plain suckitude. I want them all on board the cheatriot train when it runs off the rails.
  4. You're 3 preseason games premature for this kind of talk.
  5. By the time the Bills were on the clock it was down to Rosen and Allen. Too bad we'll never get the real reasons for who they went with.
  6. This is the hallmark of being a Bills fan. There are probably still folks out there saying Johnson over Flutie was the right call.
  7. A couple of things, First, nobody getting to the pros is a "scrub". There are wildly divergent levels of ability, but all have something that got them there. Second, watching someone under center who could read a defense, go through his progressions and throw a WR open has become a novelty. Third, seeing a QB willing to actually throw the ball was like a breath of fresh air. After the clown show of the past three years at QB I'll take any of the three QBs we have right now. All we know for sure is there will be an uptick in QB play from here on out. Allen is the odds on favorite, long term, but for this year Nate has as good a chance as anyone.
  8. Soooo... whatchagonnado???? Darnold gone 1st, all the rest have equal or worse warts than Rosen and we are sitting with McCarron and Peterman.
  9. If you're talking Shane Falco, the answer is Mayfield. Out here in the real world Rosen is the most sure thing.
  10. Starting in the preseason I said this team felt different. There's no logical reason for them to be here, except this is a different Bills team. Different mind set, different motivation and most of all different coaching. They should get stomped today, but they won't. Should be the same old Dennison, but it won't be. Same old Tyrod, but he'll throw for yards today. They're just different. I really think they win.
  11. Sadly, savior is a lot older than 15. He was around BBMB for years as Savioredwards
  12. Apparently somebody pissed in your cheerios this morning. What happened did McDermott's cousin stand up your sistyugler for a date or something???
  13. Excellent! This would mean we dodge this bullet. NO MORE RETREADS
  14. White, Reilly, Milano, even Jones and Nate. I think something big is coming on Christmas Eve. We've been good Santa, cut us some slack.
  15. The cheaters* already have too much film on taylor's style of play. Tyrod has to evolve right from the get go and take chances throwing downfield. Then the D needs to be in marsha's grill all day long. I have little faith either of these things happen, but if they do the Bills walk out of patsieland with the biggest win of the century and well on their way to relevancy.
  16. McDermott will want to use his draft picks to fix the deficiencies at OL and on defense so no moving up for a QB. They'll probably use our first round one pick on the best QB available and start Nate. Where they go from there depends on Peterman's performance and the rook's development. And I'm OK with that.
  17. I think I understand the OPs point. There will always be games where a shootout is unavoidable. The D has an off day, the opponent is a prolific scoring team or like this Sunday with the patsies*** they're just a dominant foe. Turnovers happen, weather happens, stuff happens. The ability to match your opponent WHEN THE NEED ARRISES is mandatory. I'm hoping the unspoken point he makes is about points, not yards.
  18. The key is always marsha. Without him gronk and the rest are human. Constant pressure and if somehow a 300 pounder were to land on his knee...poop happens.
  19. A patsie* win does nothing for us. A patsie* loss, and I can't believe I'm saying this, gives us a shot at the division. They need to lose and cart marsha off the field.
  20. Which would leave you with Webb at QB and quite frankly, maybe not a bad idea. But the truth is it's Twoyard "one moe time" and it all happens with the season on the line. There's just no way to catch a break as a Bills fan.
  21. And this, children, is why I tell you to just say "NO" to drugs.
  22. What I saw was a Miami QB capable of throwing the ball downfield into tight windows and consistently moving the chains. Miami is no powerhouse but showed McDermott the blueprint for defeating the patsies***. Hit old man marsha early and often and play solid pass defense. The pats*** have to face a pissed off Steeler team and Orchard Park is a long way from sunny Miami in December. That Steeler defense could easily put marsha on the shelf for the rest of the year and Cutler will be the same ole Smokin Joe on the frozen turf at New Era. It's not probable, but it's been a long time since the Bills have been where they are right now. Enjoy the ride gentleman.
  23. sure fire way for defensive ends to pad sack stats, inability to audible, the list goes on. Two of Peterman's picks were on him, the rest not so much especially considering our OL wasn't doing him any favors against a monster DL. Taylor never would have thrown those picks, he doesn't throw the ball, but I guaran dam tee you he would have been sacked half a dozen times.
