Wacken!!  Saw the documentary of this festival on Prime. I’d love to go but the next year’s show sells out two days after the festival.

I’d give my left nut (hell I’ve been married 36 years. Take ‘em both. I’m no using them) to play in front of a crowd like this. ***** Yeah!!

I had the opportunity to watch these guys open for Rob Zombie.  They certainly put on a hell of a show. Not safe for work ....or anywhere else for that matter.

great guest on Howard a half dozen or so times (while he was "available" to show up)

I think I  recall an interview with Weiland on Stern where he confirmed to hiring a masseuse to give him a massage in the delivery room while his wife or girlfriend was in labor.

I've been digging Stone Temple Pilots lately.  Scott Weiland was a true talent.

And for my friday hot take, in a cage match I'd take Alice in chains and stone Temple pilots over pearl jam and nirvana.

Nothing against any of the bands you mentioned - and Fall To Pieces is a great addition to the thread - and I know you were comparing grunge bands - but if Rage Against the Machine is allowed to enter the ring, everyone else is coming out on stretchers. :)

Same here brother.  I’ve been shuffling STP the past week, and it’s been quite enjoyable.

AIC/STP/Nirvana>Pearl Jam

One of my favorite bands since I was 15. I've been listening to them at YouTube at work and never realized how much Al Jorgensen hates America....its not new. I watched a concert from 89 and he was railing against the establishment then as well. It's just ironic to me that someone who was born in Cuba and has made a very successful living in America railing against the establishment, is still on the soapbox proclaiming our current president a nazi and a fascist .
