DOJ Appoints Robert Mueller as Special Counsel - Jerome Corsi Rejects Plea Deal

Recommended Posts

This investigation should be shut down immediately.

It’s a small percentage, but the folks who don’t hate or love Trump that I have talked to said this thing should be thrown over the cliff.

Most useles investigation in political history.

(another on team Mueller)

Gotta wonder if Page and Strzok are #s 2 and 3, or if they accepted a deal to flip. If they didn't, I can't imagine how they kept their jobs (and clearance) at the FBI until recently.

See below - that's the best bet I have so far as to why Strzok was around so long.

EVERYONE, and I do mean everyone, is trying to find out who FBI Layer #2 is right now. Independent journalists and pros alike. Everyone has guesses (from Lisa Page - even though the gender is supposed to be male - to John Carlin - who isn't an FBI attorney at all) but no one knows.

More on Strzok's timing...

Reporters I trust in DC telling me he (likely-not confirmed) had a structured immunity in place for the MYE investigation but not for Russia/FISA abuse. Him being escorted out the Friday before the OIG testified on MYE means things are shifting to the next phase. The Russia/FISA phase.

Lights out for a lot of people coming now.

Note a few other things. The OIG report seems as if it were crafted to protect Bill Priestap (as if he were cooperating). That's long been suspected by me, and if he is then they don't need Page or Strzok for anything. He can confirm and sink everyone.

But based on how things are unfolding, it sure does look like criminal cases are being built against individuals (including Strzok, McCabe, and Comey) and they're being cut loose from the FBI once the OIG has what they need as far as testimony and evidence.

Well, it's a lot harder to identify someone based on gender when you have thirty overlapping genders.

Speaking of odd looks, anybody else think “Pete” Strzok looks like a pin head? I mean his head is tiny.

Bald spot but with wiry hair rendering combover impossible.

Maybe he was motivated by jealousy and not politics.

Victoria Nuland "actively chose not to be a part" of a meeting with Steele at State in October of 2016.

She also says she didn't know of the meeting until after it happened.

You can't make this stuff up. They're all busted with their hands in the cookie jar and this is the best they can do to deflect.

I didn't want to attend that meeting that I didn't know about.

As a government contractor, that makes perfect sense to me.  In fact, looking at my calendar, I have three meetings today that I didn't know about two of which I am actively avoiding, and one of which was cancelled without my knowledge.

Nuland's statements are perfectly reasonable to me.  And I am not proud of that fact.
