KDIGGZ
I wonder if Lynn would take a OC job at either place even if he doesn't get HC. Roman took our OC job after interviewing for HC but difference was he didn't already have a job

26CornerBlitz
@AlbertBreer Expect Rams coach Sean McVay to surround himself with experienced staff. Wade Phillips in play for DC. Greg Olson could be a top ass't on O.
PatsFanNH
Â Â What could go wrong? Essentially zero experience. Crappy team. No serviceable QB. Â He'll be fine. To early tell if Goff is a bust or not.

Nihilarian
Dunno why no team is going after Kyle Shanahan with what the guy did with that Atlanta offense this year. Â The Rams are looking at Wade Phillips as their new DC. Â ESPN's Adam Schefter reports new Rams coach Sean McVay is "hoping" to hire Wade Phillips as defensive coordinator. Going on 70, Phillips remains one of the most respected defensive minds in the league. He'd be inheriting some highly-intriguing pieces in Los Angeles, though also many more holes than he had in Denver. Phillips also employs a 3-4 defense, while the Rams were 4-3 under coaches Jeff Fisher and Gregg Williams. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/353368/rams-hoping-to-land-wade-phillips-as-dc?ls=roto:DEN:topheadlines
YoloinOhio
@rapsheet The #Rams signed new coach Sean McVay to a 5-year contract, source said. So he will almost be 40 then (in just a few years)

YoloinOhio
@rapsheet And there it is: @sonofbum is the new #Rams defensive coordinator. Gus Bradley is next. Still can't believe Elway let him go. Why? Â @adamschefter Wade Phillips has agreed to terms to become Rams defensive coordinator, per source. Dragonborn10
Broncos don't have to let him go. It is a lateral move. If they do, does Elway's FO officially become dysfunctional and worse than ours?
NoSaint
I remember when Lane Kiffin was a young up and coming HC too. Why not give these guys a few years to prove themselves and gain experience? Same reason you don't take only seniors in the draft  Sometimes you have to get talent where it's available and that isn't always a bad thing

atlbillsfan1975
Does anyone really think a 30 year old HC is going to succeed??? Wade will help stabilize things with his calm demeanor and experience . But this hire for HC seems so LA. Sizzle with little substance
