That team is a walking disaster area... how did we lose to them in week 2?

When Fitz is retired, that is the game he will pull out to show to the grandkids. That was his best performance ever. He regressed to the mean and the rest is history!

Geno starting is clearly a tank move! They are gunning for one of the top 3 spots in the draft.

Ironically, The worst thing that couldve happened to Bowles last year was have have fitzpatrick put up a career (and franchise record year) for the Jets and go 10-6. That team overachieved and came into this season with high expectations. Now in season 2 everyone is wondering why theyre so bad and blaming Bowles for not knowing how to coach.

Many of us fought the tide and noted how last year's Jets padded their record against a soft schedule and only beat one winning team (the Pats***). We were told how foolish we are and what a great new HC Bowles is. The Jets are the pick to threaten the Pats*** this year with Fitz, they said...

Wonder what Fitz has made over his career. At least $50m I bet

Fitz collects paychecks like he throws interceptions.

Jets owner Woody Johnson backs Todd Bowles' decision to start Geno Smith '100 percent' http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000723914/article/geno-smith-to-start-at-qb-for-jets-vs-ravens

You're right. Chances are very slim that Geno lights it up, goes on a wild win streak, and then re-signs with the Jets. They can't start Hackinsack. The only move is to start Petty and see what you got in him. You know Fitz isn't coming back. You know Geno isn't coming back. You know Hack is not going to be ready even next year. You have to sign a vet starter unless for some reason Petty suprises everyone. Might as well give him a shot.

I agree with this. If the Jets were smart, they'd start getting Petty reps while they stand in line for Romo.

Stop your Petty thinking. B-) He ain't ready, but if Geno falters and the Jets' slide continues he'll see action before the season ends.

it's been 3 yrs right, now or never baby!

I would take Fitz as a backup as he would be great off the bench but doubt he takes the paycut.

No Biggie Chad will be our back up anyway :w00t:
