I love how Whaley is under the radar scooping up Justin Gray while the Pats are overpaying for Marcellus Bennett. Bravo Whaley...Bravo.

I'm waiting for Bennett to say something stupid... Like Vince Young when he joined the Iggles. I'm sensing that may happen.

From Buffalo rumblings

Dray, 29, has been a blocking tight end at the NFL level since breaking into the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick in 2010. He's a Stanford product, and worked directly with Bills offensive coordinator Greg Roman while the two were at Stanford together. In Buffalo, he would likely fill the role vacated by Matthew Mulligan, the blocking tight end that the Bills released midway through the 2015 regular season.

Awesome, another blocking TE. Then the team will realize halfway thru the year we can just use 6 Olinemen. More gadgets and luxuries like Felton (in this day and age for a FB). kickoff specialist, and blocking TE. Is there really enough room in a formation for Felton and Dray and NOT have Sammy double covered? Jesus, is this the 70's? The NFL evolves and we think we can out smart them by going back into last century?! And, if a blocking TE can catch is the 10 passes (on the high end) a year enough to warrant a roster spot when a 6th Olinemen can block MUCH better?

Serious questions and thoughts! If the failed experiment didn't work, try it again!?

Great. There go our 2017 compensatory picks.

Comp picks shouldn't be a reason not to sign a FA, but, this FA it strongly should have been considered! WHY!?
