The Thursday Night package is up for grabs and, coming off the Jags/Bills streaming experiment, the NFL is considering a separate "over-the-top" package for Yahoo. They would have worldwide streaming rights on top of the a regular TV package.

as long as it's free to us I'm down

Why should it be free? The NFL's content is going to cost something and ultimately that money is paid out equally among each of the 32 franchises. This in large part allows teams like Buffalo to remain competitive by getting a 200M+ check every year.

Pretty much. I'm kind of surprised the NFL hasn't made the Superbowl or playoffs for that matter a pay per view event yet.

I am thinking doing so would dramatically reduce the game package pricing they get from the Networks. Football is the top show everyone watches and the Networks need those Playoff Sundays (and Saturdays!)
