This is as good a shot as Meathead could ever ask for.

Young team in a soft division with decent talent and a really nice QB prospect.

Ultra-low expectations replacing a coach with a terrible record.

I wish somebody could remind me why we are supposed to hate Mularkey.

Maybe I don't remember correctly, but he was told he could keep his job if he fired his assistants.

He said I could not respect myself if I did that to save my skin, so I will fire myself instead.

Why is that something that we are supposed to hate? I must have it all wrong.

His second season was absolutely brutal to watch.

When Dick Jauron is a breath of fresh air you might not be doing your job well.

Good point. He was not Marrone. Phillips went out in a similar way, I think.

I always wished him well but never, never wanted to see him coach in Buffalo again.

I remember that the Bills were pretty bad when he was the coach, but I am always surprised by the venom people spew at him.

He seems to always get another high paying job, so somebody must think he has something to offer. Of course, it always seems to be on bad teams. He probably will work for a lot less than other coaches with experience.

That second year the team became an unwatchable, undisciplined mess.

He's had moments as an OC.......but he is basically a poor man's Sam Wyche and when things go bad he makes them worse.
