Do We Have Any Bernie Sanders Supporters Among Us?

Trumps answer would be something like "Let me tell you, okay? What I'm going to do to stop childhood poverty will be the greatest thing ever. No one will believe how great it is! In fact, it's so great, I can't even explain it to you because it's that great, okay? In fact, if it weren't for me, you wouldn't even be talking about this, okay? And by the way, that Wall Street Journal story that says children are living in poverty? I don't even know where they get those journalists, okay? Does anyone even read that newspaper anymore? I ask around. No one reads it. So I'd ignore them if I were you."

You a speech writer for Trump? That's pretty darned close to a stump speech for him.

Like I've said, he's the Mike Francesa of the Republican party.

Things will get better for him as soon as Bernie is elected huh? Same ignorance, different election. Remember her?

I remember when someone tracked her down and interviewed her years later. The interview was basically "Wow, I can't believe how stupid I was to think that."

. Bernie Sanders blames Clinton for Michigan’s declining middle class.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) blasted Hilary Clinton on Friday, arguing his Democratic presidential primary rival’s policies generated Michigan’s ailing middle class.

“If the people of Michigan want to make a decision about which candidate stood with workers against corporate America and against these disastrous trade agreements, that candidate is Bernie Sanders,” he said during a rally in Traverse City, according to a campaign statement obtained by NBC News.

Sanders argued that Clinton’s support of legislation like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) had helped create the Great Lakes State’s crippling poverty.

“[NAFTA] is one of the reasons that the middle class in this country is disappearing,” the self-described Democratic socialist said.

“[NAFTA and other trade deals are] crafted by the big-money interests and corporations. Hillary Clinton was on the wrong side of many of these trade agreements.”

Sanders has been escalating his attacks against Clinton’s trade stances all week, arguing on Thursday that she has proven “very, very wrong” on the issue and caused economic misfortune.

The Vermont lawmaker is scrambling for traction with Michigan voters before its Democratic presidential primary next Tuesday. Clinton leads Sanders by nearly 18 points before ballots are cast there, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.

Stay tuned.

Apparently there is a tax bracket calculator on the Bernie Sanders site that allows one to enter their income and then see what their Fed tax bracket will be under his new programs. A guy that works with us who is a lifelong Democrat went through the exercise and the Bernie calculator estimated his fed tax bracket at 37% which is much higher than what he pays now. He said no way does he want to pay the fed 37% plus all the state and other taxes. Him telling me this was a beautiful moment. An absolutely priceless moment.

Did he take into account that he wouldn't be paying for healthcare? I think thats what a lot of people forget when they freak out about higher taxes.

Not that it really matters anyways, Clinton has a pretty clear path at this point.

My average tax rate is about 40% and I get free health care. The problem, it was so badly managed that everyone is switching to private.

If you want to see badly managed left of center policies, take a drive through my city. You think USA can actually pull it off?

Yes. Because Americans are special.

He did take that into account but since his wife is a teacher, he's basically already on taxpayer funded health insurance of the cadillac variety. He doesn't want to pay for health insurance or college for anyone else.
