Interesting Take from Simmons, worth reading.

Essentially says restructure allows Pats and Brady to "break up" in 3 months, and for Brady to go out and find highest paying deal out there.

Does not say he will...but Simmons gets the Pats better than most.

Sorry dont know how to link to that point in the column. About 3/4 of the way down, last section before the picks.

I was watching the shots of Brady when Garopollo was in the game. I would characterize the look on his face as concern. He knows Belichick has no loyalty to him or any other player.

I kinda' doubt Belichick cuts Brady this offseason but I think next year will be his last in NE. There is zero chance he is going to let Brady play it out as long as he wants.

My guess is that his first choice of destinations would be the Jets. NY is his home.

I suppose I could see him coming to Buffalo if Shanahan was the coach and the D was great and had the playmakers it has now. Shanahan is the type that would let Brady play out the string.

So somehow this means he is going to end up in Buffalo? or the 30 other teams or just stay in NE! Please disperse there is nothing to see here!

Can you not read son? What part of "Possibility"...and "does not say he will" did not come across to you?

Where did it say anywhere "Brady will end up in Buffalo"

:doh::doh::wallbash::wallbash:

The title of your thread is very misleading. 'Brady to the Bills????? Possibility?' reads much differently than, say, 'Brady and Pats* could part ways in 3 mos. Should Bills pursue?'. Do you really not see a difference? Your title makes it seem as if maybe an "insider" or "expert" has heard something tying Brady to the Bills. Great click bait though. Carry on, sir...

He's not going anywhere. He will retire in NE. Please stop.

Well he's definitely not retiring there. That's not how Belichick operates. But could he play a couple more seasons in New England if his alleged great fitness level extends his career? Maybe. But Brady supposedly wants to play into his 40s. Can't that happening in New England.

Why would Tom Brady in his right mind want to come to Buffalo? Not for the money ..... He and his wife have more cash than most small countries. Not for the Super Bowl rings... He already has those. If he wants to continue playing somewhere other than New England, there are a lot more "exotic" locations and teams where he can do that. Unfortunately, be it right or wrong, the rest of the world outside of Erie County views our Bills as dysfunctional and our location to be the US version of Siberia.

Sad but true.

Okay, I can see how I was not clear. Was just trying to generate discussion and thoughts. Sorry if the thread title implies otherwise

No thanks. Hes got 2 years left maybe 3 and im not so sure he would do well outside of the new england system

anyone remember what happened with Drew Bledsoe?

Yep, pretty much. I agree completely and dont really want him. To me, he is public enemy#1 for the bills. But, playing the devils advocate, those 2-3 years might be worth it so we can take advantage of our stellar defense. But I still would hate his guts.

Gotta love Bills fans.....15 years and counting with no QB and no playoffs yet some of them would still turn up their noses at a HOF QB who's still one of the top 5 in the league.

Not to mention the notion of Brady going anywhere other than NE is absurd.

In between calling for me to be banned for suggesting we consider trading Sammy to get a QB, one commenter said he'd only consider trading Sammy for Eli Manning (and not Peyton), Roethlisberger, Brees, Rodgers, and maybe Russell Wilson. I'm glad he needed some time to think about that Wilson thing.

you are joking, correct? If not I will bet any amount of money you can come up with that Brady never leaves the Pats*......except to retire.
