What I don't like about PTSD is (a) the diagnosis is thrown around willy nilly, and probably in many cases when we're just talking about minor depression; and (b) it's completely treatable if the person wants to get better. Boiled down to its core, the "disease" is really "feeling bad b/c you saw something bad."

I'm of the belief that if you have to go around telling people you have PTSD, you've likely got other significant mental issues as well.

Bottom line -- NDBUFFCUSEAMERKSLAKERSTIGERSFAN needed to go.

Now that the mods "1984 style" deleted the rant he posted in every thread. It would be so Orwellian is we could delete this thread.

There was a Buffalo Bills message board in "1984?"

similar to people with Depression, if you have to tell someone you have depression, or in this case PTSD, you don't really have it. Your just being a Winey B%#€H. He's probably just pissed he couldn't win some lawsuit and sit in his ass for the next 20 years and do nothing before dying from alcoholism.

I find it funny. I work with a guy that was in Iraq (the first time) and he jokes about how there are men now that declare PTSD from it and they fired all of 30 shots before it was all over. An exaggeration, I get it, but still ales way too much sense.

Peiple now days need to stop being such Pu$$ies and just deal with their issues on their own. It's not always someone else's fault.

Or, more to the point, even if you have it, you shouldn't use it to excuse your behavior. Yeah, I'm biploar, and I'll tell people that...but I don't use it as an excuse to be an !@#$.
