Was the changed strictly based on EJM crapping the bed, or has Orton impressed the coaching staff, or have any players mentioned anything about him prior to this change? I'm just asking if anyone has heard, or has seen any mention about how he might be doing. A pretty innocuous question. I haven't heard ANYTHING about the guy's progress with the team, what kind of shape he was in when he arrived....nothing. zow2 Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 I feel like the Detroit game is gonna be a combination of the Matt Leinhart/Jordan Palmer preseason disasters. Ok- so I'm preparing for the worst. if it's anything better than that...it's all gravy. I hope Orton looks great but I'm having a real hard time believing he will show up for his very first Bills game ever and throw for 250+ and a couple TDs. Yeah, but he has been here, practicing for a month. I realize the practices are closed, but I'm asking if anyone has heard anything "off-the-record". Players talk to people, reporters are around the team, with some of the disenchantment and questions about EJM, I'm guessing people around the team might have been paying some attention to Orton's progress since he has arrived.
