Captain Hindsight
http://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/nfl/bengals/2014/09/01/cincinnati-bengals-devon-still-cant-give-football-100-percent/14937035/ Devon Still, a former number 2 draft pick, has a daughter who is battling cancer. After telling the team he can't give them his all they put him on the practice squad so he could keep health insurance for his daughter. Kudos to the Bengals for doing the right thing. Prayers for Still and his daughter
eball
And this is why the Bengals are a terrible organization that will never win a Super Bowl. You can't waste a spot on the PS like that. Sincerely, Jeff Tuel

vincec
Nice move by Cincinnati. With 10 spots on the practice squad what's the downside really?
The Real Buffalo Joe
I've seen a lot of baseball teams do this and leave a roster spot open on the AAA team so they can still get insurance benefits.
