What is better, no guns, or more guns?

SO LET’S UNPACK THIS LEFTY “WISDOM” ON GUNS:

Screen-Shot-2018-03-08-at-12.17.29-PM-60

1. Repeal the Second Amendment. Okay, buddy, go for it. You need 2/3 of the House, 2/3 of the Senate, and 3/4 of the state legislatures.

2. Redefine gun ownership as a right, not a privilege. Um, that seems inconsistent with repealing the Second Amendment, but whatever, I’m cool with it.

3. Prosecute the NRA as a terrorist organization, “which is what they are.” Actually, no, it’s not. Terrorism has legal definition and the NRA isn’t even close. What they are is an organization that disagrees with you on policy. Prosecuting people who disagree with you on policy as terrorists is fascistic, and also tends to make me want to go buy more and bigger guns.

So in short, we have a platform that’s part incoherent, and part monstrous. Nice work. And, sadly, typical.

American population control.

No, that's the genocide liberals are commiting against the black community in America.

They need eyed to keep them on the plantation (keep them poor and dependent on the system) to exploit them for votes; but they make sure most of them get murdered in the womb so they can keep their numbers small enough to keep them manageable.

So they murder them so they can vote?

which is why...as a person with virtually no interest in owning firearms, who on a purely emotional level understands the call for some sort of universal background check or gun registry, who understands that lawful gun owners are not the problem, and who tries to wade through all this crap....

realizes with 100% certainty that those who suggest "no one is coming for your guns, crazy!" is naive, wilfully ignorant or deceitful. History tells us someone is always willing to use their power to come for something, and willing to abuse their power to shape the world as they see fit.

those people simply cannot be trusted.

Republican legislature and Republican governor!

The law is headed to Gov. Rick Scott, who is likely to sign it today. Much has been made of the political implications of the Republican-dominated legislature defying — even in small ways — the wishes of the National Rifle Association. The bill’s meaningful restrictions on access to guns include, a 3-day waiting period for all gun purchases, raising the age to purchase any firearm from 18 to 21 yrs.; banning bump stocks; a legal process to take guns from those suspect to be dangerous to themselves or others (subject to a court hearing); and prohibition on “people deemed by a judge to be ‘mentally defective’ from purchasing a firearm.”

Don't worry, you'll still be able to purchase one in Georgia.

Well my issue is who are these judges and what are their qualifications to judge mental stability. And how many judges do we need to hire to do all this work and who’s paying for it?

The judges will rely upon the opinions of experts, you know, psychologists.  The same group of experts who have continually expanded their market reach over the years by dreaming up dozens of new mental ailments.  We're pretty much all nuts in their world.
