What is better, no guns, or more guns?

TAMARA KEEL: So, try and guess the firearm used by the dude who took the hostages at the Texas synagogue before the FBI’s HRT helped him take the Room Temperature Challenge.

Was it:

A deadly AR-47 assault weapon bought at a loophole?

A fifty caliber sniper rifle bought from an “Iron Pipeline” crooked dealer?

A stolen handgun bought from a crook?

If you guessed the third option, you’re absolutely right!

Shocking, I know.

So the guns have become sentient?  Holy @#$%!!!

Can’t get rid of all guns nor would we want to. We CAN prosecute and lock up criminals though. Even in a fantasy world without guns they’d use something else. They would still be criminals. We all know these crimes are commuted overwhelmingly with illegal guns anyway. They continue to spew the same nonsensical drivel. Criminals are the problem!

They're sounding the alarm regarding crime and the correlation between the rise in crime and cities become soft on crime.   Care to comment on that?  Topic Billy Boy....stay on topic.

BTW we've always had guns.  Why is there a surge in violent crime now?

The overwhelming number of smash and grab is a perfect example of criminals will commit crimes guns or no guns.  They found an easy way to commit crimes and make money.  Who needs guns right?

Police looking for suspect after 2 people shot outside Buffalo high school

Authorities are looking for a suspect after a student and a security guard were shot outside a Buffalo high school on Wednesday afternoon. The student is currently in surgery, while the security guard sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Buffalo Police Deputy Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said during a press conference Wednesday evening.

The shooting allegedly happened after a multiple people got into a dispute on the sidewalk outside of McKinley High School. The school had been dismissed 20 minutes prior to the shooting, but about 100 students were still in the building for after-school activities. Those students were placed on a lockdown, but they have since been upgraded to a shelter in place, Gramaglia said

Why?  What do you have against your children learning the importance of gun safety?

The NRA is a Russian asset, domestic terrorist organization and one of the largest dark money laundering organizations in the United States.

The goal of the NRA is to sell more guns, period. The NRA wants nothing more than groom their prospective customers.

I do not want guns in schools PERIOD and it is my prerogative if/when to teach my kids how to use a gun.

So it’s your prerogative to teach your kids about guns. Good. And you know the best system we have in place to help you teach them about guns?  Yes…the NRA.

So I assume you have children. What have you taught them about guns and gun safety?

Have you ever been to a shooting range?

The NRA needs to be abolished; not expanded.

None of your business.

Give us some reasons why you feel the NRA needs to be abolished (other than they are a Russian asset )  and what would you replace it with?

So I take this to mean you have never had a conversation with your children about gun safety or visited a shooting range.  I'll give you a hint.   The rules of a shooting range are EXTEMELY strict when it comes to weapon safety and these are often guidelines posted directly on the NRA site.

I already made all the comments I need to make about the NRA.

New firearm owners shaking up gun culture and American politics.

Despite the millions spent in digital advertisements by gun control advocates like former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the appeal of gun ownership is only increasing. Of all the firearms sold last year, 30% — 5.4 million purchases — went to new gun owners, according to a retailer survey conducted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

A new interest in self-sufficiency, caused by collapses in our supply chain, has also led to an explosion in applications for hunting licenses.

According to Stateline, a Pew Trust initiative, many states across the country saw a dramatic rise in both men and women taking a hunter safety class for the first time — with states like Michigan seeing a 67% hike in new hunting license buyers in 2021 compared with 2019, including a 15% increase in female hunters.

People who would never have considered owning a gun were now curious about hunting to provide for their families — and about target practice to learn how to defend themselves and their homes.

This expansion of gun culture is also reflected in the demographics of the new gun owner: The same survey showed a 58% increase in firearm purchases by Black people and 49% by Latinos, compared to 2019.

Further, one-third of people buying their first firearm in 2021 were women.

Those changes were evident in the cavernous halls of the outdoor show, which at times was filled shoulder-to-shoulder with a melting pot of all races, ages and genders.

Democrats and the press will continue to portray gun owners as bitter clingers, though.

Nina Khrushcheva, a professor at the New School in New York City, argued on CNN this morning that “if every Ukrainian takes a gun, Russians don’t have a prayer” and that “Ukrainians are really ready today”:

So, you actually don’t need nuclear weapons or advanced fighter aircraft to fight off a totalitarian government?

Anyway, we thank Ms. Khrushcheva and CNN for this explanation on what the 2nd Amendment is really about and why it is important.

Yes - more guns - we need more guns. We haven’t sacrificed enough of the innocent and prioritize enough of the insecure cult.

You should have waited until they released info about the shooter.. seeing how long its taking

to release the info I'm not sure its a white shooter. You don't care otherwise, being the

racist trash you are.

I’d dispute the notion it’s a recent development, perhaps more overt, but double standards and hypocrisy have been an institutionalized norm for quite a while now.

I didn’t say it was recent.  I said it had become astounding.  Hypocrisy has always been around of course.  We are all hypocrites at some point. But the left is blind to the level of their hypocrisy.  That is what makes it so astounding.
