Nice. I still live here and didn't think anyone on the board was from here. We'll have to catch up for a game sometime

Would love to, but I now live in Alaska. Moving back to the east coast this June though....maybe we can assemble the Auburn TBD members and get together for a game next year. I know of at least 5-6 other members that are from da burn.

41. Grew up in Rochester. First Bills game I went to, Ferguson was QB and Feragamo was playing QB for the Rams. Used to argue with kids in elementary school who was better--Joe Cribbs or Billy SIms? Now I just watch the Bills at home with NFL Sunday Ticket. I can just change the channel when things get ugly...like they did last week. Watched RG3 for a quarter and a half before I put it back on the Bills. No matter how things change, the Bills still stay the same. Until we start winning, that will be my MO while I watch.

48. Grew up in Rochester, but now live in Los Angeles. (And, no, I don't want to see the Los Angeles Bills!)

But, here's the funny thing. My wife is from Boston. Patriots fan.(How did I come to marry a Pats fan? What can I say? She's totally hot!) Her father is downright rabid. The solution? My daughter, six, wears a Patriots jersey (Welker, at the moment). My son, two, wears a Spiller jersey. Good times.

BTW - the average age is approximately 38 - which coincides with when time began standing still in Buffalo. This explains why Canadian rockers Rush are still in heavy rotation on local radio and why Buffalo women still request the "winged-front-bangs with a mullet" hairstyle at their favorite "beauty parlor". Not sure if the emergence of Mighty Taco played a hand in the Buffalo Time Stagnation Effect (BTSE), but there are some in the scientific community who suspect a link. It's also about the same time talk of waterfront development began.

Im 28, born and raised in Maine. Neither of my parents were football fans, I guess I chose the Bills because they were in the super bowl. Started liking them in 91' when we lost to the Giants. I dont remember a whole lot of the super bowl days, but I remember that I liked the Bills. I always have and always will. I'm a die hard fan and the Bills will go to the grave with me. GO BILLS!

P.S. they keep this play up and my grave will be filled sooner rather then later.

At least I remember the AFL CHAMPION Buffalo Bills of '64 and '65. Still waiting for an NFL Champion. :(

I was at both those games with my late Dad; what a big Bills fan he was. Starting in 66, I started going to games more on my own as Mom & Dad had to help at Grandma's restaurant on Sundays. I was 17 and got the money from my newspaper route. I am 63 now and as they say time flies and it sure does and what a ride its been.I was a lucky guy to be up close and personnal in the Bills daily operations for those many years. Started in early 80's or so as I was out of my 6 year stretch with the US Navy by 76 and it probably another 7 by the time I was almost a full time employee, though I still had full time employment elsewhere. Was mostly on the field by the bills bench on gamedays and would escort Marv Levy on & off the field. The players were all neat guys and never heard any bickering, though I did overhear players blaime themselves. I know I have forgotten much from that time, but one thing has always stuck with me and that it was a lot of fun, especially after a win in the locker room. Like I said I was a lucky guy.

I'm...carry the one.....almost 43.

I was born and raised in buffalo and a UB grad. Mved away n 1995 and have lived in the Philly, baltimore, DC markets for a dozen years and now I live in sesttle market.....

I've been to quite a few games in my lifetime....some of interest.......see if you remember these games....

1. First game was the hail Mary game by ferguson against the patriots in the early 80s. I went with my brother and about 15 other people. They wanted to leave when they punted. I wanted to stay..but I lost. When walking outside I here van millers call of the hail marry....ugghhh.

2. 1985 went to the cowboys game where we one one of the only two wins that year.

3. Night football. Game...rams visiting. Flipper Sanderson splits the safety on a long play with under 2 for a td. Kelly drives the team to win on I think it was the final play on a pass to reed.

4. Steelers in town in September...Kelly blows them out. I think the final was something like 51-33... It as a blow out early. Then fights ensued in the 3rd and 4th with drunk fans

5. I was at the first AFC championship game 51-3 over the raiders. I camped out for tickets the prior snday night/Monday morning.

6. I was at Kelly's last game...a playoff loss to the Jags when he got knocked out of the game.

I have gone to other games over the years. N the early 90s I split season tickets with someone I knew.

I know of a few current season ticket holders. One is my sister-in-laws brother.

This year it's a possibility since me and my brother will be back in town that weekend we could try and do the jets game.

I am still contemplating traveling to a road game this year....I have an nuclear who is a big niners fan and talked with him on going to that game ( he lives in the bay area), I could go to the game in Phoenix, or I could go to the game in Houston ( I have family there. So if I did I'd likely go with a couple of relatives who are Houston fans).

I would have gone to the game in Seattle for certain if it was here this year and would have been if they didn't flip pairings for home/away matchups.

I am considered old at work (thus Graybeard) but on this board being in my mid 50's isn't old at all. My family moved a few times whin I was growing up. In the early '60s we lived in the Albany area, and the Giants were the most popular team. In the mid '60s we lived in Florida, and I remember the birth of the Dolphins. In fact, my elementary school Phys Ed teacher (John Stofa) disappeared one day. We found out that he had gotten the call from the Dolphins ahd played QB for a few seasons. In the '70s I lived in Massachusetts, but I never liked that Patriots. That was the Steelers era, and I remember the Immaculate Reception as the most exciting thing I ever saw on TV at that time. I had a friend who was a Raiders fan, so I sort of rooted for them. I also remember that OJ Simpson was running at will against the Patriots back then. In the '80s I moved back to Upstate New York, and it has been all Bills since.

I'm 63 and am not in the true sense a fan of any one team. Never been a big Bills fan simply because they leave you disappointed more often than not. Over the years I have been a big fan of players. I have been a big fan of players like Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Steve Tasker, etc. Currently as my handle says, I am a big fan of Freddie Jackson, but I am also a fan of Calvin Johnson as well.

35 and got hooked by my dad. He wasn't a huge football fan until he was invited to a company trip to the Ralph in 88. Had such a good time that he brought me a jersey and hat and we watched, attended or listened to every game from that season until I moved West in 95. I have carried on the tradition, but have had to endure a lot of lonesome losing seasons. I found another Bills fan (transplant from St Catherines, Ontario) in my city (Victoria, BC, definitely a beautiful place to live) but he's not exactly sociable. My 3 month old daughter has three Bills onesies and may be stuck with my affliction. Guess that would be a cruel and unusual punishment.
