Whoever the MVP ends up being it’s looking like it will be one of the weakest MVPs in recent memory

With the Dolphins losing to another good team the season is there for the taking for Allen and the Bills. With a big game and win in prime time tonight Allen can put himself atop the MVP race and have his team back into 1st in the division and very much in the one seed hunt.

That was as unimpressive as I could have imagined between 2 “heavyweights” Dolphins are a good team not a great team, KC is a great team with flaws

Mahomes crying after every play has gotten ridiculous

Yeah I recall all of that, he only gave Allen that credit after the 13 second game because it was obvious to every fan of football that Allen was on Mahomes level, the first opportunity to revert back to the hate he did so. I appreciate your take but I’ll respectfully disagree and stick with what seems to make the most sense in my opinion. If and when Burrow ever gets the Mahomes or Burrow discussion like Allen received after 2021 postseason, you’ll quickly see Wrights vitriol aimed directly at Burrow. He’s wet insecure with Mahomes positioning as the leagues clear cut #1

Nick Wright won’t admit it but his constant belittling of Allen is coming from a place of fear. Wright knows that Allen is the only QB who could dethrone Mahomes and it’s why he shows more respect to Burrow, Herbert, Hurts and so on… he knows those guys don’t have the ability to threaten Mahomes standing.

I just read an article on PFT quoting Tyler Boyd saying some of the Bills players used the snow as the reason they lost in the divisional round game last year. I hadn’t read or heard that, did anyone else remember seeing these statements after the loss ?

Most teams see a dramatic drop off of talent behind the starter regardless of position. It’s impossible to field a team without holes on the depth chart, it’s why injuries play such a significant role in the outcome across the NFL.

Whoa !! Lol.. I was referring more to the media, not the Vegas odds and more about the lack of injury talk around Allen’s play not so much Burrow. Allen plays hurt and is still among the MVP leaders because he’s that dude. Burrow simply isn’t built like that.

Burrow gets a pass when he’s bad while playing injured and Allen not only doesn’t get credit for playing great last 2 seasons while injured, the media rarely acknowledges he’s playing hurt. Crazy stuff.

Yeah he’s not a starter in the league and he’s not starting in Buffalo, if they feel he’s sufficient for his back up role then who am I to disagree. I definitely don’t want to see him starting or playing for that matter.

Dude is on pace for 45+ TDs 4500+ yards and top 10 in most relevant offensive categories. I feel like I’m living in some alternate universe where up is down and left is right. Hopefully when the “team” wins a title, all these silly takes while simply fall away.
