I’m not so sure, I think The Bengals D gives up less in the playoffs than the regular season… the Bills D has given up 34 PPG in 3 playoff games against KC while averaging somewhere in the 17 PPG during the regular season… that’s just WAY to much to chalk up to the Playoffs are just harder. That’s an absurd drop off and being 3 games is not a one off.

The problem isn’t his regular season defense, it’s when he’s going up against the leagues best teams/coaches in the playoffs where his defense has been bad. He’s a great coach to bring into a bad situation and rebuild a program from the ground up, he’s not good enough to lead a team with Super Bowl aspirations, he’s proven that to this point.

Mayo is a plug, nothing impressive about his press conference whatsoever, maybe he ends up being a good coach, we’ll see how it plays out.

Allen Mahomes Lamar… game changers Everyone else are scratching and clawing to reach their level of play and consistency.

The owner wasn’t answering texts and calls for 2 days, friends of the 3 men showed up banging on the door.. nobody answers, they break into the house and discover their friends dead on the back porch and yard, they call the police who show up to the house.. and only then did the owner come out of hiding in a robe with an empty wine glass… said he was sleeping with the fan on. the owner of the house might wanna lawyer up.

He had no problem showing up Allen with his demonstrative arm flaming nonsense at the end of the Bengals game when he clearly believed Allen wasn’t performing. He was brutal against KC and no over the top demonstrating this time ? He’s emotionally small and now his game has fallen off to the point it matches. I never expected him to step up and take the questions after that game, he’s checked out and has been for some time. I appreciate what he did to help Allen’s evolution but this is Josh’s team now, the sooner this relationship ends the better for the organization.

The bigger story is KC having 4 of the top six defenders and Allen still put up 3 TDs and offensive #s the Chiefs haven’t surrendered all season.

I certainly wouldn’t argue against that response, but I’ll just say that the time I spend with my 2 grown sons jumping up and down, hugging and high fiving during games is special and it started by my dad and myself taking them to games as 12 year olds. They were more interested in the experience and hanging out with dad and grandpa when they were in their teens but now in their early 20s they’re into as much or more than myself. Im glad they decided to be Bills fans, it’s created special moments, had they decided not to be, then I would have found other ways to create those moments… no big deal.

This is a spot on take of the current state of the sports media landscape as a whole, 30 years ago a player of Allen’s talents and playoff performances would be unanimously respected and hailed as an all time great. Those days are over and now swimming upstream against the current is what drives these programs. Allen is clearly a top 5 QB no matter where you view it from and to belittle his game is an obvious ploy. I miss the days of when sports media didn’t require screaming and arguing to entertain.

Why does it matter that some fans aren’t polite while expressing their desire to see Gabe go, Davis isn’t here reading and weeping and even if he was, he’d survive. He was a good player for where he was selected, it wasn’t a home run but a solid double and now it’s time to take another swing in the draft, hopefully in the 1st with higher expectations.

The injuries pretty much ended a real championship run, but they had enough to beat KC at home, but once again McDermott’s playoff D showed up and KC had guys like MVS make plays on the ball downfield while Diggs ***** the bed for Allen.

Make some painful decisions, eat some dead cap money, draft WR early and turn the page, this iteration of the team couldn’t get it done, now focus on a younger, cheaper one going forward.

Joe China doll Burrow needs to prove he can stay healthy before worrying about being in any conversations beyond that, as much as the narrative about Allen’s shortcomings against KC are a thing, so is the Burrow is physically soft and not available narrative

If the player is fine with the risk, who am I to get in his way, there’s been players who’ve retired early due to concussion risk and good for them, but it was their choice. Life is full of risk/reward decisions for all of us to make.

I like QBs who score lots of points, they tend to win more often than those who don’t.

It’s not silly though, his stats say he has no business but if the award just goes to the best player on the best team, then Lamar is the MVP. Lamar is clearly one of the best football players in the league.

It’s hard to judge accurately when the QB is surrounded with elite talent and operates one of the most QB friendly systems in history. I believe he’s excellent with what’s asked of him.

Nobody is mocking him for being good, they’re mocking him because the media were putting him in the upper echelons of QBs.

Yeah they look exactly like what many have said they are, a good 1 seed and not a juggernaut
