Yeah he had a good season on a great team that had the leagues best D and best special teams which carried him to the 1 seed and an MVP. Because I know the award goes to the one seed, I was in no way surprised he won it, but I was surprised at 49 out of 50 votes and the backlash that Aaron Schatz received for casting the lone vote for Allen. Death threats, homophobic slurs and being labeled a racist because he didn’t go along with the group think ? Crazy… congrats to Lamar for winning, he’s an excellent regular season QB but I don’t think anyone can say with a straight face he had an unanimous MVP season.

The INT numbers and the one seed seem to be the deciding factors for MVP voters these days, and yeah the media will latch onto another narrative but anything other than the turnover machine narrative probably doesn’t carry as much importance.

This dude is the type of player you can build an offense around, along with Shakir, Cook and O’Cyrus they have some really nice young talent. They need to continue to focus on offense in these drafts and all will be good.

I’d love to be principled and just walk away from watching the NFL because of the rising costs but I’m too weak… but it might just actually end up being to expensive for me to actually afford and justify and I’ll be forced out as a viewing fan. That will suck if that happens.

Favre was awesome to watch playing football, until Allen came along he was my favourite QB to watch play and now he’s 2nd.
