  1. No absolutely not, I meant addressed from within the community and by the elected officials who represent the citizens who elected them. Anyone arrested carrying an illegal firearm needs significant jail time and this soft on crime approach isn’t working. Making guns more difficult for law abiding citizens to obtain does zero to Solve anything IMHO.
  2. There’s definitely a cultural aspect with the inner city gun crimes in these black communities, people don’t want to say it out loud, but until it’s recognized and addressed I’m afraid the cycle of gun crime in those communities will continue and of course the people effected and hurt the most are the law abiding black citizens in those very communities.
  3. Excellent well thought out points, many of which you and I agree upon. I’ll just say this, I believe there’s a rather large segment of government from both sides who benefit from an ongoing gun debate that will never amount to any solutions, and if that focus were to switch from the gun used in these crimes to the perpetrators and reasoning behind their actions plenty of powerful people(big pharma) wouldn’t approve. I truly appreciate your view.
  4. Hey man, if you wanna ignore what’s happening right in front of you that’s your call. I think all shootings should get as much national coverage as possible, but any adult thinking critically can see the types of shootings that get the national attention and the ones that don’t. we’ll just agree to disagree, have a good evening.
  5. Yeah 100% correct, I think Chicago is really the only city that’s had any substantial reporting on the epidemic of shootings and hand gun violence in the black communities. It still doesn’t get the nations attention like these mass shootings because the national MSM has decided mass shootings will help with the anti-gun narrative they’re clearly pushing because they don’t believe people value young black men shooting each other like they value the innocent white bystanders being gunned down. its pretty obvious, they don’t even try to hide their agenda. Sure, but getting bogged down in stats misses the point, the media and politicians don’t give a damn because almost all those shootings are perpetrated with handguns by young black men against young black men.
  6. I’d consider making the AFC title game coming close, but I understand your point.
  7. I’m not a big math guy, but last weekend in Chicago 18 people were shot according to local news. Maybe that makes Chicago a safe city, I’m not sure. There were 617 homicides and 2450 shootings across Chicago throughout 2023, according to Chicago Police Department data.
  8. And next weekend in Chicago just like every weekend another 45 young black kids/men will kill each other and nobody will say a word, silent until the next mass shooting then back onto the gun debate.
  9. When it becomes too expensive of a hobby, I’ll simply move on to something I can afford. It is what it is.
  10. Yeah there will always be those who prefer to be on the safer side of risk vs reward but like someone had stated in the past… if you start listening to the fans, you’ll soon be sitting with the fans.
  11. It has to be WR, they’ll be able to manipulate the board to get into postion for a player they covet.
  12. 100% and with more upside to tap into, it’s an exciting situation brewing. If I’m Bean I try to lock him into a relatively cheap deal by starting RT standards right now. The price tag goes up drastically if he continues to improve.
  13. Always the bridesmaid… poor b*stard
  14. Jessica Pegula will win a major before the Bills win a title and the Sabres make the playoffs.
  15. Basketball, golf and tennis you can make the mental toughness argument to a degree, but in football it’s not a thing because the game requires so many other moving parts besides your QBs mentality to win games. Football is the ultimate team sport.
  16. “Won’t get fooled again”
  17. He was a good player, if you want to say he was better than Jimmy G or Purdy ok, that’s fine. I was only being half serious, kinda lol, but I stand by my point that he’s gone to 3 super bowls with 3 QBs all of whom will not be sized for a gold jacket.
  18. Matt Ryan Jimmy G and Brock Purdy, the fact he got to a Super Bowl with these QBs they should have a separate shrine at the HOF for him. Great offensive mind, questionable big game decisions.
  19. Sounds like they know him extremely well and liked what they’ve seen over the years
  20. I don’t buy all the mental voodoo and toughness and just having the ability in crunch time, KC has a top 5 DC OC/HC QB TE OL DT CBx2 K And that’s why they are what they are.. winners
  21. Yeah and there’s that too, plenty of questions abound for Burrow and the Bengals in a very tough North division.
  22. Yeah, the Bills D in the postseason has crippled this teams ability to go far, special teams is whatever, the Bills are better on offense than KC and that’s with OC turnover and an aging #1
  23. They used to be, then the NFL decided going for 2 is all the rage so the 2,5 have made a comeback
  24. Burrow still has to prove he can be counted on by his team to actually avoid injury and be available every week. It’s far from a given, he just might be one of those guys who can never stay healthy.
  25. They’re just better than everybody, but they won’t win it every year so you just gotta keep drafting for offense and get thru once or twice and win a title of your own.
