  1. I would have no problem with the constant reminders of Bills playoff failures if they reported the reasoning truthfully, but they do not. It feels like the Bills are the only team fuc*ing things up every season if you listen to the media, the rest of the teams who either don’t make the playoffs, don’t win their division or lose in the playoffs are just given a free reset by the media and treated as though their failures didn’t happen or don’t matter. If you didn’t actually watch the league and just watched the media coverage, you’d come away thinking the Bills are a mediocre loser franchise. I’m guessing the media outlets and pundits are aware the mafia engagement rises with negativity and the rest of the leagues fan bases love to hear how this dominant franchise with it’s elite QB haven’t won anything and most likely won’t in the future, it’s a win win for the media.
  2. That’s plenty of guesswork, nobody will know until he gets extended playing time, with this organization or another. I’ll take a guess as well, Elam wasn’t a scheme fit as you suggested, the Bills coaches believed he could be coached up but unfortunately he struggled with the transition while at the same time Benford fit like a glove. These circumstances caused Elam to become frustrated and butt heads with his position coach thus stunting his development. A guess is a guess.
  3. With a good GM and ownership with enough cash on hand to pay big lump sums up front, the salary cap is nothing more than a road bump. If your team doesn’t have either the GM or willing owner, the salary cap becomes a 50 foot wall.
  4. I watch him on the field make plays and wonder what he is or isn’t doing inside the building to cause his lack of opportunity. Elam’s position coach is replaced and stories of him and Elam not getting along surface, and it’s starting to make sense. I don’t have a good handle on Elam’s ability to start week to week because we haven’t seen it, I do know he makes plays in big games.
  5. I like multiple WRs, not sure they need to be 1st and 2nd round. You want to fill holes in free agency so you’re not handcuffed in the draft and forcing yourself to picking players for need instead of BPA. WR is a need and they will be filling that need in the draft, it’s a no brainer.
  6. Ok, now we’re seeing Bean making the tough but necessary decisions, I was worried he’d be too emotionally involved with some of the veterans to do what needed to be done. Glad to see the GM is doing right by the organization and leaving feelings at the door.
  7. Picks picks and more picks, it provides Bean some flexibility in the draft.
  8. I 100% agree Milano or any other LB isn’t stopping Kelce, that being said it would be nice to have the defense as a whole play up to their regular season performances in January and February and not have to rely on the offense to score 30. The Bengals and KC defenses get better in the playoffs and McDermott’s D gets worse.
  9. I never said anything about Klein, if anybody is thinking Klein should be covering Kelce in man coverage they should be put on time out by the mods, that’s ridiculous. Its definitely not realistic, Kelce is arguably the GOAT at his position and LBs just aren’t equipped to cover him in man so far down the field, heck it’s a very tough ask to cover him in any fashion for any player.
  10. Yeah because LBs are covering Kelce 25 yards off the line of scrimmage in man coverage. Milano is a bum !!!!
  11. Milano and Bernard looked ridiculous together in the small sample size we had last year, it’s probably what I’m looking forward to seeing most besides watching 17 dismantle defenses. Its a very hard no.
  12. I’m moving into top 10 for MHJ only, 11-15 for Nabers or Odunze 16-27 for Brian Thomas JR taking Franklin or Worthy at 28
  13. Is this one of the most exciting WR classes in recent memory ? Or am I just hyper focused because of Bills need and imagining Allen ripping ropes to a young speed merchant.
  14. Identify a WR you believe will make a difference year one and eventually replace Diggs and trade up to get him. I believe this is what will happen.
  15. I agree with your take on Hill, he’s a scum bag, but people not wanting to pile on or people not agreeing with your take doesn’t make them misogynists. I’m sure you’re knowingly exaggerating with that claim out of frustration with those who don’t see it your way but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen any hatred of women by any poster here ever.
  16. Yeah I’m a proud homer, it’s tough to sit back and not jump into some of these over the top conversations and try to defend some deserving players, but it’s like whack a mole, the next thread is up before you get outta the last one. I do think the fact the pretty much everyone was in the same boat with knowing would couldn’t compete with NE, had lots to do with why there was much less NE threads, we all know the Bills are more than capable of beating KC so it lends to much more discussion.
  17. Please just go and take your miracle story with ya… not that it’s Hamlin’s fault at all, but I’m over the story and he’s a bottom roster body.
  18. How can a player you deemed “bad” at his primary role of pass protection clearly have All Pro potential ? I’m not sure I’d be able to get there if believed that, other than he can obviously improve but there’s no guarantees. As for getting beat by Carter, Barmore and Wilkins, that in of itself doesn’t tell me much about a rookie as that’s to be expected, those dudes are beating veterans on the regular.
  19. Only, Elam really hasn’t been “crap”, which is why it’s weird that he hasn’t earned a starting role and maybe it was ego or personal feelings between position coach and player, either way for Butler, it doesn’t look good having Elam on the bench.
  20. I really didn’t see it so black and white as I watched the offense operate. O’Cyrus just looked like a very good player who was rarely, if ever the story of the game. Im sure he had plenty of poor pass blocking sets, I remember a couple myself but I guess I wouldn’t categorize his play as bad because I don’t recall watching games and his play being a large contributing factor in a loss. I also can see someone looking at how a player grades out with stats and simply saying he was bad, that’s fair but I prefer to use stats and grades if I’m forced to see them, as secondary information that can be useful but definitely not something that overrides what I watched. I guess it’s wise to add that 17 makes up for PLENTY of mistakes up front, thankfully.
  21. Yeah I prefer to watch them play the game and let my eyes tell me how good they are, like we all did prior to the late 90s. Torrence had an outstanding rookie season, playing every game and being a big part of easily the best unit Allen has had to date.
  22. Keep em comin
  23. Yeah it bothers me that he avoided taking responsibility publicly for that collapse, while he watches Josh stand before the media each week taking responsibility for his poor play, often knowing it was teammates or coaching that were the real culprits.
  24. Because the Bills and Bengals are the only teams who’ve proven to be on their level and they knew it was going to come down to the end, they were better that day and deserved to celebrate, I don’t think they had any doubt about what they were going to do to Baltimore, Lamar is an easy playoff game plan for someone like Spags.
