Was there a significant number of serious injuries due to this particular tackling method over the last couple seasons that prompted this change ? I’m seriously asking because I can’t remember a single one, I know there’s a couple where it’s looked awkward and painful but the player ends up walking off, I don’t recall a single player being put in an air cast and driven off the field. I think having a “competition committee” itself lends to unnecessarily making changes, all be it with good intentions, when you have a job that entails making the game safer… you’re going to make changes to justify having a “competition committee”

I’ll always remember Joe Theisman on the broadcast saying the winner of this game will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, he wasn’t wrong.

The great Joe Burrow has been mediocre in the playoffs, but because his defense actually gets better in the playoffs they’ve won game in spite of Burrow’s average numbers. Allen is looking like one of the greatest playoff QBs ever, elevating his play which is crazy, yet the D sh*Ts the bed. It’s becoming tiring.

I suspect Spags has had a great deal of influence on Sneed’s game, he’s definitely a very good player and I’m not upset he’ll be somewhere other than KC.

I think the Bills are ok with a Spencer Brown pay increase and are expecting it, moving Morse’s money off the books makes room for an upcoming Brown deal. Im more than happy with Worthy at 28, but I’d be very surprised at OT in the 2nd.

Very nice, I never let expectations negatively impact the pleasure I get from watching. I’ll be disappointed if Bean doesn’t do everything he can to find a future Diggs replacement early in this draft, but I’ll continue to believe 17 makes you a contender each healthy season he has. The first year the Bills defense doesn’t drop off in the playoffs will be the first championship Allen delivers. That’s my belief and I hope I’m proven correct this year.

If the Bills don’t upgrade the pass rush it’s a growing/rebuilding year, how does that change your viewing experience and its entertainment value to you ? Do you watch less, make more frequent bathroom breaks during live play, actually invite the wife to watch with you and actually mean it now ?

Certain fans who feel they’re owed a SB title will slowly start to blame the all world QB more and more with each passing year if no SB is obtained, even if that QB continues to dominate the league as Allen has the last 4 years. Since they can’t really point to his on field performance as the reason for no title yet, they’re left with pointing the finger at the offseason routine, as though maybe playing one less round of golf, or one less week on the beach with his significant other will somehow activate this Bills defense into championship mode in the playoffs. Absurd.

I totally forget Kincaid at times when thinking about the offense next year, that’s how good the rookie was, I just assume 1K yards 6-10 TDs next year as he gets comfortable with what defenses around the league are trying to do to him.

Ignore the “realists” lol…. I’d love to believe into existence that the Bills are doing everything in their power to give Allen a MHJ, it’s fun to think of the possibilities.

They need to try and keep Burrow upright and on the field, he’s yet to prove he can be reliable and available to his team, right now he looks to be fragile and he has to change that perception.

If I knew it was any combo of DT/WR of these four players I’d kick back and enjoy the rest of the draft without a care in the world

For some reason I’d feel better if it were Legette in the 1st and JPJ in the 2nd, obviously JPJ isn’t there in the 2nd but I doubt Legette is there at 60 also. I say don’t get cute and make sure you get a WR with #1 potential, center can be addressed in later rounds or next year.

So drafting Dion’s kids means you get all the prime time arrogance, softness and unwillingness to play physical without the all world physical skill set and ability. Pass

Of course your correct.. the tweet let the league know he was ok playing somewhere other than Minnesota.. Bean made the call. It’s why it’s frustrating to lots of fans, Diggs listened to Bean in interviews say it was the tweet that led him to making the call. I hope he’s here and is all in and has an excellent year, that’s what’s best for the team, if he doesn’t want to be in Buffalo I hope they ship him as long as the compensation is palatable. It’s simple as that really.

I love Diggs the player, he’s been excellent and the Bills are better next year if he’s in the team.
