  1. And if he wins he’s still one ring behind Bradshaw
  2. I’d love to be principled and just walk away from watching the NFL because of the rising costs but I’m too weak… but it might just actually end up being to expensive for me to actually afford and justify and I’ll be forced out as a viewing fan. That will suck if that happens.
  3. Yeah, I guess I’m just heartless lol but this type of reported behaviour does nothing to alter my view of the player on the field, and since I have no other connection to this human being away from the gridiron I really don’t give a rats a**.
  4. The same Jets organization that’s been a dumpster fire for pretty much my entire life is somehow a disaster because of Rodgers?? I don’t think so, he’s just the next chapter in the Jets fans book of despair.
  5. Favre was awesome to watch playing football, until Allen came along he was my favourite QB to watch play and now he’s 2nd. I’m not hiring him to watch over my family’s billion dollar estate, so news of him being greasy with tax payers money has zero impact on me. Government officials misappropriating funds… shocker.
  6. Please please let this happen
  7. lol yeah, I’m thinking social media and dating apps have really distorted reality for much of the single populace. 100 years ago a person might come into contact and actually see a very attractive person a couple times during their lifetime. Everyone out there flipping through all these super attractive profiles saying “naw, I’ve seen hotter” it’s pretty disturbing actually lol
  8. I’m the last person to defend the media on any front lol. But this started with Diggs and will end with Diggs playing somewhere else at some point and that’s exactly what Diggs wants and I’m guessing what Allen and the team wants as well. 50% ? IDK how to quantify that but ok if that’s the case I wouldn’t be surprised.
  9. Absolutely, I just find it weird that many fans can’t see or just refuse to see what’s actually been happening with Diggs, people minimizing and some outright calling it media driven narrative. I understand not wanting Diggs to leave, he was great for Allen and exactly what 17 needed at that time, but it’s pretty obvious to anyone willing to accept it that the relationship is over and Allen is ready to raise a 1st rnd WR of his own.
  10. The very moment he made a public spectacle on the sidelines throwing his arms in the air and chirping 17 for the whole world to witness was the start of the end of Diggs great run in Buffalo. I recently seen some former players discussing this situation with Diggs the other day, can’t remember who but they made an interesting point, they said don’t ever let management figure out they can win without you and that’s exactly what the Bills did over their 2nd half run to the 2 seed. Diggs served his purpose but the team has failed to win a championship with him and now have proven they can win without him, the sooner he’s gone the better for the Bills and especially 17 who now at 28 years of age has complete ownership of this team and can elevate some young blue chip 1st rnd WR.
  11. Figure out who they believe can be a legit #1 , if it’s 3 or 4 or however many then go into draft night with a plan to get one of them for the least amount of compensation. Hopefully that’s trading up only 5 or 6 spots, but if you need to get higher then be prepared to get it done. If you want Allen to play in Buffalo beyond his current contract you better be setting 17 up for success. They made this move with the Diggs trade and it proved the right move and it’s time to make the WR move again.
  12. They should continue to look for a replacement like they have almost every offseason who can compete against Allen in December and January. I’d be pissed as a fan to watch my team settle for a small, immobile, injury prone QB who folds like a lawn chair in big games.
  13. The other part of the reason is Jones isn’t Allen, Jones will not and can not ever do what Allen can and does do on a football field. seems like a nice guy though.
  14. This is amazing news, sooner or later Tua will win some important games in December and January right ?
  15. Maybe I’m a outlier here but I’ve only been to maybe a dozen games over the last 30 years and was inebriated for 80% of them and can’t even remember most of the day after 11am I believe I have a winning record but details are sketchy
  16. Apparently only in football is it considered a good thing to go outside of the company to fill a position rather than promoting a hard worker from within. I’m not sure what the success rates are when comparing the two options but it would be interesting to see the data. I worked for a train manufacturer in the 90s and a supervisor role opened up and instead of promoting someone from the floor they opted to bring in a ex firefighter to fill the position, within 2 weeks while on the floor he was trying to get to know what the actual work was like and someone had to show him how to light an acetylene torch. I understand not knowing how to light a torch means very little for his ability to supervise in the big picture and yes I know it has zero relatability to the NFL, but it didn’t go over well with plenty of employees who believed if they worked hard and did a good job they’d get their opportunity. I wonder if there’s that same sentiment among NFL coaches who are overlooked for outside candidates.
  17. Winning super bowls will come down to ownership and management maintaining a high level of commitment to winning a title and some luck, Allen has already shown to be an all time playoff performer and it’s up to the team around him to pull their own weight.
  18. It’s painfully obvious after watching behind the scenes on Hard knocks that McDaniels tries very hard to be one of the guys and probably is best served as an OC, but being hamstrung by a limited QB is doing him no favours.
  19. Yeah if the Bills job was available he’d be in Buffalo, most head coaches are never blessed with a young HOF QB… those jobs aren’t turned down.
  20. Well done, matches what I’m seeing with my eyes and seems to be aligned with common sense.
  21. Because TDs are all equally 6 points and advantageous to winning in a significant way, INTs in the other hand are not all equal and in Allen’s case specifically his INTs tend to not be of the back breaking variety
  22. Gronk definitely isn’t a natural at the halftime thing
  23. I’m beginning to think they like starting these mediocre QBs to keep them from feeling any heat for all these playoff failures.
  24. As limited as Purdy is, this 49er D is straight garbage
  25. That’s the downside of a physically limited QB, very little ability to overcome poor OL play. The ability to erase poor play up front should be a priority when drafting and starting a QB.
