True story. Years ago, one of my kids had a fever. My wife sent me to the drug store to buy a rectal thermometer. I could not find on labeled "rectal thermometer" so I grabbed the one from the shelf and asked the Pharmacist "whats the difference between a normal thermometer and a rectal one". He replies with "the taste" and proceeded to laugh uncontrollably for quite a while before seriously answering my question.

I have season tickets in the first row of the upper deck so I don't have to have some idiot standing up in from of me when nobody else is standing. Standing is fine when there is reason to stand, but many people will stand just to be jerks and because they want the satisfaction of knowing that they have annoyed somebody. The stadium is filled with inconsiderate morons. If nobody else is standing, sit down. If somebody politely asks you to sit down and nobody is standing in front of you, sit down. Be considerate of others. Standing the whole game is not a badge of courage or something. Stand when the action of the game demands it, otherwise sit down and let everyone around you enjoy the game.

I think this whole debate is a bit silly. What else is the guy supposed to say? Does anyone really believe that he expects to go 16-0? I highly doubt it. But you have to go into every game expecting to win with the reality being that you are not always going to. Just expecting to win is not the reason they are winning. Believing they can win and then putting a plan in place to put your players in a position and being able to take that onto the field and executing it are the reasons they are winning. Chan has done hell of a lot better job than I expected him to. He has taken a roster that does not have great talent and he has made them believe they can compete with the leagues best teams and then he has shown them how to do it. Very impressive.

I diagree. Our receiver was blocked from being able to get over to where he was trying to go. Had he not been interfered with, he could have made the catch or atleast knocked it down so it was not intercepted.

It was very loud. But for me, the loudest game I ever remember attending was the Dallas MNF game a few years back. That stadium rocked from the kickoff until the final whistle.

There is not one person on this board who thought that the O-line would be playing as well as they are. That has been the key to out hot start.

I would imagine the defenders would be told before the kick which side of the field the ball was being kicked to. The returners will often times fake like they are going to catch it, but the defenders don't fall for it because they know the ball is not being kick to that side. In this case, there must have been poor communication on the kicking team so they did not know he was kicking it to the other side.

I've been thinking that too. This season, without Manning, the Colts will suck and get a high pick. They will draft their QB of the future to sit and learn behind Manning for 3 years (Like Aaron Rodgers did behind Favre) and they will be good for another 12-15yrs.

It is ironic for Deion to comment on someone else shying away from contact, but for once I agree with Deion. Brady is a wuss. There was another play where he could have fought for a first down, but would have had to take a hit. He chose not to.

What's worse is that we also wasted a top 10 pick on Spiller to theoretically replace Freddy and Marshawn and he cannot play at all.

This game will come down to turnovers. Whichever team gets more takeaways and more possessions will win the game.

It doesn't have to be DL that gets cut, it could be anybody. But I would gladly cut Heard or Spencer Johnson to sign him.

The injured player should have to sit out the rest of the quarter or the team loses oa Timeout or takes a delay of game penalty. This would stop that garbage immediately.

He is potentially better than Lee, but I'd like to see him prove it. Also, that was a terrible overpayment for Lee. I don't think we should make the same mistake twice. Very good point. The market for a solid #1 receiver is probably closer to $8m. I honestly don't care what they pay him, I'll just be glad they sign him longterm.

He's not Larry Fitzgerald. I'd be surprised if the Bills go higher than $5-6m per yr

I will be very disappointed if we lose to NE. This would be a huge victory for this team. But they are not yet on a level with NE and the elite teams in the NFL, so I am not going to be surprised or devastated if we lose. I am hopeful that we play competitive and have a chance to win the game in the 4th. If we actually pull off a victory I would be completely ecstatic.
