  1. If he is the guy they want, I don't care if they take him at 11 or 20. He's rated highly by all sources. He would not be a reach at 11. I think it is hilarious how many of you closet draft experts cry about a buy being a reach. If he comes in and starts, who in the hell cares if he went 11 or 20 ? If the Bills could guarantee a trade down and still get the guy they want thats fine, otherwise I want them to identify their man and take him. I would be thrilled with Pettigrew at 11.
  2. Unless we get Scheffler, I think Pettigrew will be the Bills pick in Rd1
  3. I would be happy with this draft. I would also assume that if we take Oher we will trade Peters and get another 1st rounder to address DE or LB
  4. Crabtree will never make it to 11. But if he were there, the Bills have to consider him. He is a potential difference maker for years to come. While DE is more of an immediate need, they Bills might have Crabtree rated so much higher on there board that they have to take him. I would not be upset with this pick.
  5. I wonder how mad T.O. would be if we Franchise tagged him after the 2009 season.
  6. I agree with most of the other posts. I would hate to see Parrish traded for a 4th pick or similar. He is more valuable to the team than that. With T.O., Evans and Reed ahead of him, he can come in and be an extra weapon of offense and he is an explosive returner. Unless we can trade him for Scheffler or in a package with Peters for 2 high picks, I think it would be a terrible idea to trade Roscoe.
  7. He rushed of 3.9yds per attempt and found the endzone 5 times on around 100 carries. I think he'd be a good stopgap and possibly a mentor for Beastmode
  8. I would love to see the Bills sign Deuce McAllister. He still has something left in the tank.
  9. THAT WAS AWESOME. You are now my favorite poster on this board.
  10. There have been a ton of ridiculous trade/draft scenarios posted on this site, but this one takes the cake. Trade our starting Free safety, defensive captain and former top 10 draft pick for a Second rounder. Wow. This is the stupidest thing I've seen today.
  11. We basically agree here. I think Peters is a great player and do not want to see him leave. I would be very happy if he signed for 8-9m per year and he went on to have a HOF career. My fear is that he will either continue to be miserable and hold out until he is traded or the Bills will cave to his demand(trade is more likely). Or even worse, he caves and accepts less than what he wants, then he pouts and plays crappy like he did last year. The JP of 2007 is worth $8-9m, the JP or 2008 is not worth what he is currently making. As a fan, my heart wants the Bills to just pay the man. On the other hand, if we could get a 1 and 3, I say trade him. In the long run, the Bills might be better served
  12. I don't think it is a stupid statement, although it is obviously an overstatement. Peters sucked last year. Walker played better at LT than Peters. You could argue that even Chambers played better at times. I think the argument for me is this, is Peters really the best LT in football ? I don't think he is. I don't think he deserves to be paid like he is. I also think that no matter what he ends up signing for, he will be a malcontent again once a few more linemen sign for more money than him. He is not worth the headache. Are we going to the playoffs this year with him...probably not. Can we find a suitable replacement. Yes. He is not single handedly going to make or break the Bills season. Get his whiny butt out of town if you find someone willing to give a 1st rounder or more.
  13. I agree 100%. I also think we will add a veteran G in FA before camp.
  14. I would be happy with this draft scenario, although I would be surpirsed we traded with the Jets. But I would rather get a OG or C in Rd2 and trade a 3rd for Scheffler. I still hope the Bills sign atleast one more veteran OL either way.
  15. Does anyone know which agents represent the top draft prospects ? I think we can cross off any Eugene Parker clients from the Bills potential 1st round choices.
