  1. Shouldn't you have said he cuts like OJ?
  2. we tried the all white draft last year. We drafted three guys named white, didn't we?
  3. I'm sure we have not heard the last of him 1.) I expect several run ins with the law over the next few years 2.) I expect several post on this board titled "Why not sign Albert Haynesworth for the right price?"
  4. I would rather keep Bell if possible. If he leaves and Gaither comes at a reasonable price, that would be OK with me. Like Bell, he is a solid LT when healthy, but he's been unable to stay healthy. But if I remember correctly, his health issues have been much more severe than Bell's.
  5. That is funny. I love The Onion
  6. I was going to post something similar to this. I was wondering what the the consensus was on this: Would you rather sign one top UFA like Mario Williams or 3 Mid-level guys (Stevie, Garcon and a LB, for example) ?
  7. I dont necessarily think Fitz is the savior, but those OLine stats are BECAUSE of him, not in spite of him. Go Bills! These two quotes sum up my opinion on this subject
  8. based on the last 10 years or so, this is a reasonable expectation. But you never know. Nobody expected the Bills to have such a strong start to the season this year. Nobody expected them to beat the Pats. Nobody knows what they will do in FA and the draft. I'm going to wait and see. At this point, I think they have a strong possibility to push for a WC spot if they make the right moves.
  9. Spiller wants to start http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/02/10/jackson-may-get-extension-but-spiller-wants-to-start/
  10. This is good news, although really not new. Buddy said the same thing at the beginning of the off season. It is nice that they do legitimaely seem to understand the value that Freddy brings to the team on the field, in the locker room and in the community.
  11. they signed Barnett, Urbik, Pears and Chandler. None were big names but each of them made a big impact I think they will do more of the same Possibilities include: Dave Tollefsen and Anthony Spencer on Defense and WRs like Robinson, Garcon or Brandon Lloyd Ralph still owns the team. That is the standard excuse, right?
  12. I get it, you are nit picking. But their overall assessment of what we need to improve on is correct. We need an elite pass rushing DE and we need to sign Stevie. I think you are trying a bit too hard to be negative about their article.
  13. I'm not saying that defense is not a priority, but the Giants also have a very good offense.
  14. other than nit picking the length of time we played the 3-4 and calling Wanny a new hire (which technically he is at the DC position), what can you disagree with? This assessment seems to be spot on.
  15. Ralph is cheap. (Sorry, somebody had to say it)
  16. I'd be shocked if they franchise Stevie. I think they will get him signed long term but if not, I just don't think he is worth franchise money and they would choose to let him walk and sign a replacement for less than the franchise tag value.
  17. I thought about this when I saw the article this morning. As a player, he is great. But the neck thing scares me. You would still need to sign or draft another LT as insurance but this is a guy who I would not be surprised to sign here on a 1yr deal.
  18. Cornell Green actually played really well at RT for us when he first came here. The problems started with the FO traded Peters and moved Green to LT. Green knew he was not capable of playing the position. He said as much. But he was forced into it and did his best, which ultimately was not good enough. I don't fault him for it and I would have been happy if he stayed and played RT.
  19. Robinson would be a good signing assuming they keep Stevie or replace him with a true #1 (Bowe, Colston, Jackson, etc)
  20. The O line cost us games too. Fitz threw a ton of picks because he was under pressure. Oh, he also broke some of his ribs. Pass rush is a definite need but so is OL.
  21. they could easily do away with this by making it a dead ball foul just like 12 men in the huddle. If the Defense has 12 men when the ball is snapped, the ref blows the play dead and the clock stays where it was.
  22. I prefer the opposite (Blue/White, White/Blue) It just reminds me of the early 80's Bills that I grew up watching
  23. this would really be great if they do wear the Blue pants. I love the look of the blue pants and white Jerseys. Am I the only one with no sense of humor? I find this game really annoying and juvenile.
  24. I don't think the Federal Govt has the authority to tell the individual states that they cannot use their own money to help fund pro sports team, especially as it relates to stadiums which can be used for other things (concerts, HS Football Championship games, etc). The think the Federal Govt has a lot of other things to worry about.
  25. They need a DE and an OLB both of whom can Rush the passer
