  1. 100% agree... I like the new one's too...But I'll always side with the red...Just looked cooler IMHO...
  2. I'll hold my opinion until I see the Combine/Private Workout numbers...But I have my guess already on where the kid will go...I'm assuming his arm is going to dazzle...I can hear it already...Size, Speed, Arm...This should be good...
  3. I love this because if nothing else it's a great story to follow leading up to the Draft...
  4. As a Rochesterian and graduate of Fairport High I'd like to say *&^% all of you suggesting anywhere other than St John Fisher...
  5. Glennon has averaged being sacked 2.95 times per game behind a terrible O-line...That's certainly not terrible... He's not a statue and he never was...Even at NC St...He is 6-7 without great straight line speed, and he's only going to be able to be so quick at that height...But compared to Orton he's Flutie...
  6. I agree... QB's elevate based on potential and not much else is needed...This kid will go into controlled workouts and dazzle scouts...They'll be plenty of buzz at his workouts...You can all but bank on it... I'm not saying whatsoever that he'll make it...If the lazy comes back (Urban's words not mine) he could crash and burn like JaMarcus...But he's not going to look lazy before the Draft...Almost none of them do...He's going to look like some kind of a QB God because he's huge, he can run, and he's got a hell of a good arm...I would not be at all surprised if he went in the 1st round by the time it's all said and done...He's got limitless upside...
  7. Exactly... I think in hindsight the Bucs probably wish they gave Glennon the entire year to see where he is...But I'm not sure why any NFL team would consider trading a 3rd year QB who in only 19 games has thrown 29 TD's to 15 INT's...
  8. "Seattle in the making..." I admit I drooled a bit...
  9. I'm still unsure about the move... But a step back from Marrone? No way...Impossible...
  10. Would really hate to see Henderson go...
  11. And it makes sifting through the garbage worthwhile...
  12. I'll say this much...If Rex is serious about retaining Schwartz, and manages to do so, it shows me already that he's learned some lessons...A great HC knows when to put ego aside for the betterment of his team...Something Marrone struggled with...I think the Rex that went to NY a few years back would never even consider keeping a guy like Schwartz around if the situation was similar...His ego would have gotten the better of him...But maybe this Rex is different...By all accounts Rex is a guy who is easy to get along with, and I'm certain if he's serious about getting out of the way and letting the current DC continue to do his job he'll be able to sell that to Schwartz easily...That would impress me...It would tell me Rex is evolving...And that would be a very nice first step for his regime in Buffalo...
  13. The Bills depth on the D-Line is really special and I think the main reason for their success in 2014...In the past it was big trouble when someone went down...This past year Charles, Wynn, Bryant, and Lawson all chipped in and made some plays...Even more importantly they kept the starting 4 fresh throughout the game...
  14. True...He's coming here to be a HC...And hopefully he learned a lot in his first stint... I think he sees the talent on Offense and probably assumes he can get more out of that group than Marrone did with a legit OC...But no doubt the key question here is what can Rex do to help this Offense...And I'm completely unaware of the answer...I've looked over the Jets stats a bit today and the most glaring stat to me outside of their Pass Offense, which was basically nonexistent, was their three and out percentage...They were 4th worst in the NFL...The Jets went three and out 26.34 percent of the time on drives...More than one out of every four drives was three and out...Ouch!...Then again the Bills were not much better...24.87%...Roman's Offense in San Fran was 13th best in the league with a 19.1 three and out percentage... So...anyway...it's all about the Offense...Again...We'll see I guess...But I'm certainly not convinced Rex can fix it based on his history...Hopefully he's learned something we don't know about...
  15. I agree... It was such a weird situation...And obviously it effected Kaepernick more than anyone... Even still they ran the ball well (4th in the NFL) and did not turn it over much (+7 in TO differential and the 10 INT's were tied for 5th lowest in the league)... Roman/Harbaugh had a simple theory...Run the ball...Don't turn it over...8 of the top 10 teams with fewest giveaways made the Playoffs...It's not a bad approach to winning...You can get away with more giveaways if you have a great QB like Luck...The Bills have no Luck...Literally or figuratively...So again...It's not a bad approach...
  16. The Bills D is fast and physical in it's own right...But Seattle's D is is like lightning...Super fast, powerful, and destructive...
  17. So...Looking back to the thread concerning Sammy's state of mind after the Marrone debacle...I'd say he's going to be just fine...
  18. I always liked Roman... I think this past season in San Fran can be written off...Very weird situation for that locker room to deal with... They still finished with the 4th best rushing Offense in the NFL...Something the Bills need to improve desperately... I think you can easily assume bringing in Roman means the Bills will at the very least inquire about the possibility of trading for Kaepernick...I think Kaepernick was a Harbaugh guy big time and San Fran make take this opportunity to get that cap money cleared off in order to keep their best players on Defense long-term and re-adjust... We'll see...
  19. It's just a guess...Putting two and two together with the Roman thing...But I'm guessing the Bills are going to at least ask San Fran about Kaepernick...We'll see...
  20. I'd be even more fine with a better option than Sanchez or EJ... That's the real challenge...Can they get someone better?
  21. Not sure what happened in San Fran last year...But Kaepernick did not look like the same kid to me...He regressed no question...But he was really close to Harbaugh and I'm assuming he knew of the internal rift there because everyone knew...Maybe it effected him? Maybe not...But I always liked Roman...And I'm AOK with bringing him in as the OC...
  22. That's fair...And all I'm saying is...I think met with that challenge...EJ will beat him out...Not because EJ is great...But because Sanchez will turn it over to much...
