This is not rocket science and the media has to be a bit dramatic...At least I'm guessing they do...They need ratings...
EJ does have to be more accurate...And I'm not one to bash EJ...Not by a long-shot...But that game was winnable yesterday and he missed some big passes...Some potential game changers...Was he under duress? Yes...Did he have time to make a better throw? You bet he did, and he just missed...I guess the good news is on most occasions he was throwing to the right guy...meaning he read the D properly...But he just missed...He missed two easy ones in the red zone vs Miami too...It's an issue...If he does not clean it up by the end of the year there is no question his job will be in jeopardy...
Having Orton around is certainly going to get people talking...I'm not saying the Bills would have beat SD with Orton because chances are he's still not 100% comfortable with the Offense anyway...I am saying if EJ hits on a few of those plays that were available yesterday it's an entirely different game in the 4th quarter...The crowd is going crazy and the Bills certainly could have pulled it out...And for a team that wants to win now, with veterans in their prime and a HC who is fighting for his job, I'm not sure how many of those performances EJ is going to get before the hook comes out...I'm not saying that's going to happen...I'm just saying I don't know...
