I'm not going to say that Peppers could have solved all our problems at S because we're already in Week 2 and it kinda is what it is at this point. But I do think having a player of his caliber available at this time and letting him get away to another AFC team was a missed opportunity... I am supremely confident he would be an upgrade to Hamlin. I am moderately confident he would be an upgrade to Rapp by the 2nd half of the season. I'm actually holding out hope that Bishop improves with time on task... I think S is a huge issue... I thought, based on the fact that we are already into the season, having a player like Peppers become available was much more than could logically be expected most years...But who knows... Maybe he's dropped off significantly since his 2023 form. We'll see...

Bernard looked really, really bad last night... I know on one specific huge Henry run I saw it looked to me like he abandoned his gap, turned his back to it allowing him to get washed out an extra 5 yards... At times it looked to me like he was running around with little to no purpose... I'll wait to see... But my initial reaction was that he was terrible...
