I think they need to go big nickel with a S as the nickel back, not a CB. The Bills need as much speed on the field as possible while still being able to slow Ingram. The Niners did a very good job of slowing them in the 2nd half, I’ll be interested in what the tape shows they did. It appeared they were much more disciplined in their edge contain and stopped biting hard on every handoff/fake to Ingram.

Steelers have a better D and it’s an away game. That’s a rough place to play. I like the Bills in that games but it won’t be a blowout.

I don’t know how you stop their running game. It seems nearly impossible to be stout in the middle and on the outside all at the same time, every play.

If the Bills don't win the division I want the Pats to get the 1 seed. As its likely the 3 seed beats the 6 seed (and plays the 2 seed in the division round) I want the Bills’ 2nd round matchup to be at NE. I’d love for us to be the team that ends the Pats dominance. Not to mention, the Pats are a much better matchup for the Bills than the Ravens.

I’d like to see someone go big nickel and make them keep handing it to Ingram up the middle. As long as the DEs don't keep crashing the middle on the option/handoff (like the Rams did) Lamar would be forced to hand it off most of the time. Keep Lamar from running it and make Ingram be the primary ballcarrier and Lamar use his arm vs a nickel. Of all the options I think thats the least likely to result in 30+ points.

The Bills have to win out to have any shot at the division. The only semi-realistic way the Bills win the East is if the Pats lose to Hou, KC and the Bills win out. The Pats other games are vs.the Bengals and Dolphins. If the Bills lose a game they’d need the Pats to Lose to one of those teams.

Singeltary isn’t fast at all. Like, at all. He’s fantastic in many areas (vision, change of direction, contact balance) but speed isn’t a strength of his. He’s not going to bust off many 50-60 yard runs but he’ll have a ton of 10-15 yarders.

If they had done that they’d be questioning why they didn’t bracket Brown. Aside from Allen’s play these past few weeks the best thing I’ve seen from the Bills is that if teams take away Brown the Bills have a legitimate threat somewhere else in Beasley.

You don’t extend the QB after year 3. Teams have to take advantage of their rookie deals to extend their window as long as possible. It’ll be after year 4 (at the earliest, they could conceivably wait until after they do the optional 5th year) that they’ll extend Allen.

Cutting Star after this season doesn’t save much cap space. He’d have a huge dead cap number. He’ll be with the team next year and likely be fine after that.

You’ve added things that the OP didn’t mention. I don’t mind the DL pounding their chest and walking down field 10 yards after a big play (which is what I think the OP was referencing) but waving goodbye and the Tre mocking Dak’s dance step over the line from having fun to rubbing it in. I agree with you there.

All I need to understand what a trash statistic QBR is is that Josh Allen has a higher QBR last year than this. If a stat doesn’t show the huge improvement to his game then that stat isn’t even worth considering.

He’s was good even before the stat line started catching up to his play. What we had were stat line scouts.

Yeah, I’m wondering if they’ve peaked too early. There always seems to be a team that catches fire in December that goes into the playoffs red hot. Maybe the Ravens continue this right into the playoffs but I doubt it. My guess is Mahommes and the Chiefs get some of that media back by playoff time.

Booger is horrible but people are forgetting it’s been bad for awhile. Are we forgetting guys in the booth like Kornheiser or Dennis Miller?

I'm not too worried about Pitt. They can lose any of their remaining games, Arizona and the Jets are pretty even matchups. Pitt's offense is putrid.
