The Bills are defiantly a good team and playoff worthy. What worries me is that anytime they play a good D the game will be very close and they can easily lose to teams who, overall, aren’t as good. The Bills are a more complete team than the Steelers but that game worries me because they cause turnovers and play very, very good D. Will we see a repeat performance from today’s O? Much like today, one miscue on D could be the nail in the coffin. The O’s deficiencies means the D has to play nearly perfect.

Yeah, that was huge. As was the Knox drop on 3rd and 10’when they were driving. The drops dove me crazy today, though to be fair, so did Allen’s misfires.

Why do people think “WR1” equals “HoF type WR”? Brown is one of the top 32 WR in the league. He’s a WR 1. Is he elite? No, but all the guys people list as elite are guys who will garner serious HoF consideration.

I was really disappointed with the offense today but... Damn, Pats, Seattle, Houston and Rams all got smoked by this team. This D is legit and give the Bills a chance to win any week.

Fouts and Booger should have a cage match for worst color man. Booger would win but damn it would be close.

Did I miss a “need a new QB post somewhere”? or “need an entirely new OLine” one? This type of hyperbole makes discussion so frustrating. People are pointing out players who had poor games, I’m not sure how that equates to them not wanting those players.

I don’t know about I being a TD but the job of the QB is to read leverage. The DB has his hips going in the wrong direction, that would be a 1st down at the very least if he puts it on him in stride.

Oh, I think we have a shot, I’m just not nearly as confident in our O after today.

Both the Steelers and Pats have better Ds than the Ravens. On the road for both of those games too. I’m worried about getting a W in both those games after this showing.

D made the Ravens punt time and time again. I didn’t do anything with those opportunities. Ravens scores three times when they got the ball aeound the 50 yard line or better. Offense not moving the ball and the turnover killed them today. That was the difference.

Everybody on O was bad today. Literally everybody. Bad protection. Bad passes. Bad drops. Bad play calls. Just bad.

Yep, if you don’t get the two point conversion I’d rather know it now than later...

How do they not QB sneak that?

Has Lamar completed more than 2 balls that weren’t screen passes or balls within 4 yards of the LoS?

Defense played as well as I hoped they could. They kept giving the O the ball back. Offense was just pathetic

Yet the halftime highlights made it look like Lamar was having another great game

I like to think it means they’re a bunch or doormats that we’ll walk right over.

To be fair, Carr knows more about shaky QB play than almost anybody on the planet.

I compare Lamar as a passer to an elite wrestler’s standup in MMA. A great wrestler can compete with, and even get the better of, a great striker on their feet because the striker is so worried about the takedown. He keeps his hands low and is quick to react to a shot but slow to react to a punch. That’s how Jackson is an efficient passer. Teams are so worried about the run game that they are willing to give Jackson parts of the field and if he can beat them, so be it. To Lamar’s credit he has beaten them, and regularly. Yet, if he had to drop straight back with no RPO or play action, or teams stacking the box, how successful would he be? Personally, I think he’d struggle but we will never know because he doesn’t have to do that as he’s the greatest runner we’ve ever seen at the QB position running the greatest running offense the NFL has seen in...maybe forever.

He signed a one year deal with them. I doubt he’s that bothered. Its not like Cole who played his entire career for the Cowboys.

A large part of the Bills struggles vs. the run is scheme based. They bring an 8th and 9th man into the box less than any other team in the league. While they’re not happy to give up those runs they’ll take them over big plays in the passing game. That said, I think they bring extra men into the box this week and dare Lamar to beat them deep. I’d rather give the Ravens the deep outside with Tre in single coverage than let them hammer the D in the run game.
